Australia vs England vs Wales

Is it just me or is there a continued sentiment that either England or Wales are "going home" after the round robin stage of the World Cup? It is as if Australia are already in the quarters and we are just waiting to see who will join them. Australia still have to play both sides! All it would take is for England to beat Aus and the group is wide open again. Wales could even lose to Aus and still make it to the next round along with England. 
Watch this space! 

Australia are very beatable, but you have to do the right things. England have had Australia's number in recent years but appear to have lost their way somewhat. Wales and England will be beaten comfortably if they play the A ussies at their own game. 

This is the point.....England CAN beat Australia ( we all know that is true ) and they absolutely have to now, Wales very rarely do. So the Pool is still wide open really. 
I think there has been massive overreaction to the loss, which was a raging disappointment and made us very angry indeed ( all those penalties  ) 

A very scary evening is in store on Saturday.....  

England need Joseph back at 13, is he over his injury?  

 Not sure yet......he was still a doubt. 
Slade might do it......and I know you hate him, I do not. I think he is very good indeed. But I, like Jon Snow, apparently know nothing  

Australia's achilles heel is bound to show itself against England - the lack of a world class kicker. 
Cooper was awful - missed 6 conversions against Uruguay.
Foley was better against Fiji but struggled in the Super 15, has a pop gun leg and while a courageous defender he is a liability there.
England has a great defense - only allowed one Welsh try at the very end. 

 Oz wont bow out neither will Wales.. I had Eng in the final initially...but I think now they are history... maybe a  France Wales Austr final

Joseph trained today, so he may well be back out there come Saturday. 

As for Slade and his weight.....oh Saffex ! I honestly think he can do it at his weight, you know ! But now you will call me a blithering idiot, yet again....... 

I think England have just had too many injuries over the last 2 years, so they are not a settled team with first choice combinations. 
Although England still have one of the strongest packs in world Rugby. Australia scrums usually crumble against the English. England need to put pressure on Australia and make them concede as many penalties as possibale. 

England knocked Australia out in 2007 after starting with a 36-0 loss against the Boks. I'll never count them out against Australia. They were winning well against Wales until some key substitutions derailed them. 

 Well I think we need to stop giving away penalties ourselves because that has killed us these past few years ! They have been totally unnecessary penalties; not under pressure from the opposition nor a three pointer to avoid giving away seven in the main. Just dumb penalties. 
We have had so many injuries and never had a settled side, but no-one listened to me when I kept saying that ! And yes, the subs situation was hell on Saturday....the problem was, Lawes, Youngs x2 Billy Vunipola were all injured so they had to be replaced. The most stupid error was slapping Ford out there, which was totally unnecessary and costly, in my opinion. 
We just have to wait and see, don't we ? But I am always horrifically nervous during a match. This week will be horrendous
