Argentina loosehead prop Marcos Ayerza will miss the Bronze Medal play-off match against South Africa following an injury.
According to a release sent by the Union Argentina de Rugby, the prop suffered a grade one hamstring tear in his right leg. This was confirmed by team doctor Guillermo Botto during training.
He will be replaced by in the starting XV by Juan Figallo, while Santiago Garcia Botta is being flown in from Argentina to serve as cover on the bench.
Ayerza has been in devastating form in the scrum for los Pumas at the World Cup and will be sorely missed by the front-row on Friday.

Argentina have named their strongest available side for the Bronze Medal match against South Africa, with injuries having depleted their squad.
Head coach Daniel Hourcade has made nine changes to the starting line-up that lost 29-15 to Australia in the semi-finals. There are four changes in the forwards and five in the backs.
Horacio Agulla, Juan Martín Hernández and Juan Martín Fernández Lobbe started in the bronze final in 2007. Marcos Ayerza and Juan Manuel Leguizamón came on as replacements in that match.
Nicolás Sánchez is the leading points scorer at RWC 2015 with 89.
