Beeno: I hope you are not letting down the whiners on this site down , i.e. are you keeping stats on all the off the ball play? Perhaps there is none, lol We will have to see if this is the case in the SA games.
Canes score  !!!

Yes, Barrett shows some form. He has to make a few more plays though as he is a key for Canes to get back in the game.

Blues score again via forwards.Sirs John and Graham after having consulted Master Jake decided to work it via the canes fowards.
However Canes defender taken out by Blues player in typical NZ FASHION. NO TRY WOULD BE THE CORRECT CALL!!!!

Now canes score.

Yep it would have been nice to share the win with Cloudy.
We now have an OZ derby match which the brumbies should win.
After that the real rugby begins with Bulle and Lions then Sharks and Stormers.

Pretty bad performance from the canes, but it wasent helped from dodgy TMO decisions, that dodged all momentum. Season not over, but they have made it much tougher.

3 IQ the better side won and so no complaints please. Wee canes can still make playoffs but app ear to be on downward spiral as are highlanders and chiefies.

Congrats to the Blues.  Last week their forwards looked poor - this week they were like Trojans.
I do not understand New Zealand Rugby.   A few weeks ago the Chiefs played the fool with the Blues and had a runaway victory against them.  Last week the  Hurricanes played the fool with the Chiefs and logically one would have to expect that the Hurricanes would b too strong for the Blues:-
The first problem is that it seems to me the NZ teams do not travel well - the Blues especially falls flat when it comes to travel.   Virtually all the NZ teams all struggle away from home.
The second issue is that none of the NZ teams gave good enough forwards - especially their Tight 5's are scrappy while they have excellent loosies.   Against teams from New Zealand that deficiency is not as pertinent and it is when they meet teams from outside of New Zealand = where they normally striggle badly.
The third reason relates to the fact that their defense allows for too many holes and they run all over the place as a result.    For example last week Nonu was Jordaan's bunny - this week Nonu made spectacular runs.
A combination of the above results in see-saw performances of the NZ teams.

CONGRATS TO THE BLUES AND CLOUDY IN ANY EVENT.

Oh so if the Stormers lose which is likely, and a dodgy ref call goes a long way to the outcome, are you allowed to mention it, or is all one way? This it the problem, if that stupid penalty try and sending off happened to a SA team, their would be blue murder on this site, yet it happens to a NZ side I am not not allowed to even question it? Right I get it now. Blues overall deserved their victory, but it helped all the momentum that Canes had up 7-0 was taken away, by that stupid sending off.

3ku1: yes it was a mistake, even the commentators said so. Our mates on this site like to find any excuse to give us a hard time & we do the same, lol
Sorry to see canes play poorly, they really were not at their best. Barrett was not having a good game so I will have to see what the Blues were doing to disrupt the Canes or if it was self induced.
Anyway, at least Cloudy will be happy.

3 IQ please feel free to mention it or anything that pops into your mind. However do bear in mind when you cynically knock down a ball like that a penalty try is a distinct possibility. I have no doubt that a try would have been scored. The oak tried to stop the pass being made. Justice done.
Its good to see sides playing illegally getting their just rewards. Something kbbs would perhaps not like to see.
