"It's painfully obvious that the owner of the site felt exactly the same hence the reason he created a special section for Jihadi Beeno"

Yes, and the same owner of the site also created a section called Other Sports for a reason. Why is it important that posters post in one section and not the other? Why not just respect the board owners wishes and post content in the relevant forum? Why would anyone be so self-important as to think we need to vote on this?

Another thing, nobody likes posting in the other sections because it gets ignored mostly...some would say because of the content . ..valid in some cases. Beeno did comply with the rules for a while, only to see others ignoring the same rules. So why bother? He started posting at the top and got response again. The way in which we behave shapes those around us in different ways.

IMHO, it looks like some posters don't mind off topic stuff as long as it's not one of Beeno's. We can't have different yardsticks for different posters and topics
Draad, it's not that difficult.....Off topics other than Beeno's run for a very short period of time...here I mention other sports like swimming, Golf, cricket etc Generally it's the same for non sport topics eg the one I've posted for Mike.
Beeno copies and pastes miles and miles of the same rubbish. No-one else does it, if he'd just expressed an opinion like we all do it wouldn't be so repulsive. There are about roughly nine posters who feel much the same as I do.
He also uses the board as a pulpit. Don't you think that's going too far....it's religion man, it's sacred, not to be flaunted like a cheap plastic toy.
There are accepted norms, weigh the volume of his copies and paste versus anyone else and then tell me if he's an accepted norm.
Have a look downstairs in his own box, no-one responded to his dribble....doesn't that tell you something?

Denny, I don't read it most of the time. I also don't read some of the copy and paste rugby articles, but I don't complain about it. Regardless of Beeno's views on Trvmp and Global warming, it's important topics and Basq and Saderfan (I think ) has added different views on those threads. Some characters just clash and it seems Beeno clash with most even in the rugby topics. Tolerance is necessary even tolerance for sh!t stirrers like Kitchener whom I've told to FckOff.

So then you voted 1 Draad, it's a free country. As for RooiUrinal sticking to rugby topics, you have to be kidding. Look at the post immediately above your post. What he means is rugby and slander in the top section. Man how stupid can you get. As for phased and fazed, they sound the same to me so it was spelling. Do stoop and steep sound the same to you Urinal?

It could if Ed was bothered to troll through and eliminate off topic postings. In which case the Board would slowly die.....which it may yet if our rugby continues to plummet. In any case I have you for 1, I mean why would anybody with half their marbles "practice and encourage others to do too" something they voted against.

No, if we force the issue, the board will probably die. Off topic don't bother me in the least so I support 3. I know it bothers other people, so I don't add to their woes with my own action. It's not something I have to give up, it's no skin off my back. I'd rather move to convince some on the left to move closer to the middle, the same for those on the right. Self moderation is the key...any attempt at force is doomed to failure .

Look Draad, HasBeen was posting below, but a lot of the flak aimed at him was posted above. When in response he started to post some of his material above, to pull a few chains among the humorless tribe, it became a scandal. Out of that scandal Rooinek decided to become the Ruckers version of Barlee. It's all trite, lacking in a sense of fun, excessively judgemental and dishonest. Have you followed Sharkbok's totally dishonest manipulations. In short the tits on the Board......Basque, Urinal and Snarkbok have used the issue to push their antagonisms. I understand guys like WD even if I think he is wrong.....his views are honestly motivated. These other Tits are trying to settle scores. This Board has been very active and unregulated.....we need to reject attempts to reign in aberrant views if we want to have fun here.

"This Board has been very active and unregulated.....we need to reject attempts to reign in aberrant views if we want to have fun here."

And that is pretty much exactly the point.
Along with "Don't like? Don't read"
I like Beeno because he makes me laugh a lot of the time. I don't like or dislike Trump but I sure as hell don't care to read posts about him so i don't read them. It doesn't offend me though.
What is far more toxic than any off topic post is people who have gripes with each other and hijack threads with irrelevant arguments. I've done it to, but compared to some on here I'm practically a novice when it comes to holding grudges. I do hate the hell out of Traditionalist though, seriously.
Again, that's my view and what annoys me, so I won't try and push that agenda onto anyone else because others enjoy arguing.
Ultimately it's all part of the fun and once we start regulating then we are on the proverbial slippery slope.

Snark I voted 3 as I have told you several times before...as for your interpretation of DA/Truth what's your evidence? Draad insists he voted 3, but you have him as a 2. You missed Admit One who voted 3. That's 16 to 10 in favour of free posting.....even Bluebok would shift to 3 if Beeno showed a bit more restraint. Which would leave the result at 17 to 9......18 to 9 if Mo is taken at her word that she was fine with the Board as is....ie freedom to post as we have done traditionally. The Board has voted, respect the result.

@The Truth and/or Devils Advocate.
3 things-
1. I never see a rugby post from "either" of you
2. When one of you posts, it is usually followed shortly by a post from the other (look at the time difference between your posts above- and it seems like a major coincidence .....)
3. I don't recall ever seeing  "rugby" comments from either of you. It seems you are both here to argue with Rooineck. (On that note, some people just voted option 3 because Rooineck voted option one. (This was aided by Mozart trawling through the board for arguments- to try gain votes.

Sharkbok, I asked the question the other day . . . what percentage of Dumb Ass's posts are a copy and paste of a Rooinek comment followed by a foot-stamping little squawk about what a dreadful person I am?

I think back then the percentage was in the mid to high 80s. Pretty sure it's in the 90s now.

Love seeing this lifeless loser patting himself on the back and agreeing with himself!

the fact that one person can vote many times through his various nicknames invalidates this poll or any other poll,... if the key principle "one person, one vote" cannot be assured the voting or poll has no value at all,... and no one here (except may be the owners of the site) can assure it

this poll is invalid

By the way, Dumb Ass, the record for multis definitely belongs to the Alucard/Gonzo/Dim Sum/Lestat/Desert Fool/Aristocat complex who has used too many names to count, but you're definitely second with your Dumb Ass/Admit_One/Sonny Bill/Truth_Fairy collection of sad and lifeless losers . . . and let's not forget, your multis all voted in this poll!

I rarely respond to him, as I don't let matters or people of no significance bother me, but I have noticed that he continuously associates my username with other posters, like you are doing now... Look at my post count, you stupid, stupid person... It is because I don't get involved with the lover's tiffs on this board...
