The Dogo is a stunning dog. I want one.
I didn't see any mention of possible eye issues with their pink eyelids.
Simply gorgeous woof.

When you say it will be an 'aweful' thought to be 69 Carbuncle, do you mean 'awful' or 'awesome'.....hahaha. Do you think you'll make it?

Well Mozart ... hats off to you ... 69 and it sounds as though you enjoy good health.
I'd be pleased to enjoy the same at your age.

My Bouvier is taking the household by storm. Clever dog, but he just can't help himsef from committing certain mortal sins.

Draad we had Rottweillers for 30 years....and then when we decided to not opt in for another one, we inherited my daughters minature bulldog. Her apartment building had a 25 lb max limit for dogs, but the "minature" got so big she had to smuggle him out in a shopping bag....finally he was caught red handed and he came up to us in the burbs.
.
When my daughter married and moved into a house she reclaimed the dog....who took a strong disliking to her husband. Eventually the dog's campaign succeeded and he came back to us. Two years ago he died of a heart attack before my eyes.....that did it for me....too many rough partings.
.
We really liked the Rotts, powerful, athletic.....smart dogs. And the bulldog was a delightful character. But what man doesn't like his dog?

Mr Plum soon as I saw your comment on slippers it reminded me of an old schoolmates dog "lofty" the lab .He ate my school shoes ,fair enough but he then ate my replacements ! Fortunately I had a job before and after school on me uncles dairy farm else barefoot to high school for me .Then to top it off we were sailing my model "Bismark " at our local lake when obeying his instincts he tried to "retrieve " it ,stripped down to me undies swimming in the lake in the middle of winter to retrieve it was not fun .
