It's early days from what I've seen of Garth April, he is work in progress but if he continues developing we might have found the real deal. One player I would like to see as a Bok is Warren Whiteley, his commitment is highly impressive and perhaps given another shot he might settle in a bit better at test level. We've tried playing without a specialist fetcher and paid the price for it, Oz over the years have shown the value of the role in George Smith, Phil Waugh and now Poc.kok...why do we choose to be different? My Bok team would have a fetcher...fullstop.

Dave ... Kebble on the bench?
You'd honestly have that hinging weed over Dylan Smith.
Did you see what Marcell did to him on Saturday?
Coenie included as your tighthead replacement??
Haaaaahahahahahahaha!!!
Well at least he's been demoted to the bench of your A side. He usually starts for the Boks.

Well let's look at your team CC.
Dylan Smith.....nothing much there, ordinary
Marx promising, a bench possibility
Redlinghuis....destroyed when he came on against Wales 2 years ago
Etzebeth....obvious
Stephanie....flavor of the day, effort player, bested by RG
Kriel...a small guy who will probably disappear in tests
Kirsten ...a worthy newcomer
Vermeulen...obvious
Faf....cracked against the Landers
Lambie....cracked against Japan
Allende...still no sense of how to bring up the defensive line
Mapoe...a journeyman
Sergeal Petersen....nice attacker, can he defend
Gelant...who?

Akers....worth a shot
Thomas du Toit....Mr Universe but he can't scrum
Koch....destroyed against the Bargies, not inherently strong enough for test tight head
RG Snyman....yes
Warren Whiteley....a throw back to Hennie Muller in the era of Kieren Read
Piet van Zyl...based on what
Francois Venter....hopelessly skinned by the Brumbies centre
Joe Peteson....the basket case that missed from in front of the poles.

You can't be serious. That's a collection of sentimental choices based on a sort of underdog view of the world. The trouble with most underdogs is they have earned their title....thus too with your team CC. No recognition of how test rugby differs from school boy stuff.

Nobody is talking about "school boy stuff" here.   However, they are against prejudice and reputation stuff.

i wonder what Bok team peeps would pick to play ireland, if they used the 50% quota policy theyre going to be forced to use by the RWC???

uzumaki clan POC Bok XV

1 t nyakane, 2 a strauss (c), 3 f malherbe

4 PTSD, 5 e elizabeth

6 s kolisi, 8 r du preez, 7 j du preez

9 f de klerk, 10 e janties

12 d de allende, 13 l mapoe

11 s peiterson, 15 j kreil, 14 jp pieterson

16 s ntubeni, 17 t du toit 18 m van der mewe, 19 rg snyman, 20 n carr , 21 r paige, 22 p lambie, 23 c kolbe

im one POC short of the at least 50% mark, but i would be pretty happy with this line up for the irish series.

its not the team i would have picked had my selections not been restricted, but theres a balanced team of fresh blood, experience, form and proven mettle. it ticks all the boxes of a strong team for the immediate tests and building towards the future.

one advantage this team has is it dosent have any players playing overseas, one of many problems the Boks currently have.

You are more than one short. DdA is white. You need 12 for more than 50%....and 2 of your picks doesn't belong there and another 2 are close, but are still not really the best choice. That leaves 6 out of 23...half of what's needed.

PSDT bested by RG Snyman is complete and utter rubbish
If Kriel is too small for test rugby, then so is Hooper of Oz and Cane of NZ
Faf never cracked against the Saders just like Lambie never cracked against the Japs
Thomas du Toit cant scrum......what bullshit
Gelant who about sums you up Moz......as out of touch as always
Frans Venter skinned by the Brumbies centre is a lie.....he played 12 opposite Coleman......who was as he always is....a non entity.

You are right on the last point, I knew it was an Aussie who skinned him...Reece Hodge of the Rebels beat him one on one in the second half, through the outside gap for a try.

It seems Mr Comb-Over doesn't have a team after all.
Probably a good thing.
He'd more than likely copy and paste Mozart's pathetic selection.

Not even going to attempt one ... ??
Thought as much.
Yet you have so much to say about other teams ...
You ARE a coward Comb-Over ... You've always been one  ... we all saw that from way back on the Super Sport website ... nothing has changed over the years ...
Still a snivelling little twat ... but now with a very poor comb-over ...
Must be hairlarious to see you o n a windy day ...

Mozart ... you really are easy to read these days.
Your response was expected ... especially having come to terms with the fact that the Mozart of old is long gone ... and that all that's left is this foolish man.
I'm not going to go back and forth with you ... you have every right to continue with your absurdity and I'll leave you to it.
Enjoy.

Is that your best?
You needed that Slicer....I didn't. So who's the coward you dumb moron?
Fancy going onto a rugby forum to claim notoriety for slicing the harmless because of their pigmentation.
You are the lowest of low lives and you dare to jump onto the moral high ground.
Shut your fat lip, you've got nothing, you are a nothing.

Suit  yourself CC wave the white flag, I won't take advantage of your vulnerability. By the way,  calling Denny Mr Combover is like calling Michael Jordan  'Curly'.
