Let the complaining begin!!!
Meyer is throwing caution to the wind here, but it will be interesting to see where a couple of the players actually are at the moment. Alberts, Lambie, Nyakane, Schalk Brits, Serfontein. I don't think we are playing for the win here, we are giving the fringe players a chance to show what they can do.
With Lood, Etzebeth and Du Toit I see no reason why Matfield should play. Reinach is also a waste of time in my opinion. Mvovo is there to make up the numbers.
Disappointed that Kitshoff did not get a go, is he injured?

Well it's not really much of a surprise to see Kirchner and Matfield back.

I expected it.

Meyer's always had a thing for mediocrity ... sub standard players ... and as many Bulls as he can get his hands on.

10 Bulls and ex Bulls in the match 23.

Laughable.

Crack myself if they thump the Proteas again this weekend.

Gooooooo Argentina!!!!!!!

 AS expected...
Zane gets a run at 15. HE will be our backup at the world cup, so good call to give him a run

Lambie deserves a shot at 10. He too will be our backup at the WC.

Loos trio is nicely balanced. Schalk the link man, Brussow the fetcher and  Willem the ball carrier should work nicely together.

Spoke to Marcell van der Merwe at the Beverley Hill on Sunday evening. He is raring to go. I hope he succeeds! HE was literally psyched already!

My only issue is Matfield.
Lood, Eben and PSDT are our world cup locks. Matfield is now beginning to get on my nerves!

And Rudy Paige?? come on now.

This is really worse than I expected - but then what else is to be expected from Meyer?
Kirchner - Blaas my siel - another 31 year old future prospect - magnificent.
Willem Alberts  - 32 years old and retired from actually playing rugby years ago
Victor Matfield - As weak as Ouma Victoria - the Argentinians must be frightened out of their wits or laugh till they fall off their chairs seeing Ouma in the team.  Bet it is the latter.
Schalk Brits - Blaas my siel twintig keer
So what can we expect?
*   Zero competition at breakdown situations  - Burger is weak in it - Alberts non-existent, and the Argentinians neutralized Brussow last week.
*   Poor props and hooker - we have been reduced to a Tight 4 again.
*   Poor Lambie has to put up with Lights Out Pienaar
*   Poor De Allende and Kriel - with that concoction up front and Lights out Pienaar - they will be lucky to see any balls to play with.
Of one thing we can be bloody certain Fourie du Preez did not pass the fitness test to play any test rugby this year - but he will be in the world cup squad.
I am going to keep record carefully of this lot for a long factual report on Sunday.   It will be interesting reading.
Losing the plot comprehensively this time - Meyer is happy with the contract renewal and can now F#ck up endlessly.

I don't have a issue with the players selected as much, but the timing, the way it is done and the reasons for doing it are shocking to say the least. Total kneejerk reaction more fitting of a school coaching team. I suspect Meyer's hand was forced from higher up. It might also be the reason for his 4 year extended contract if that rumor turns out to be true. We will have to wait for the book in about 5 years to get a view on all the shenanigans that went on behind the scenes!

Maaik, we shall probably win this match even though we took 5 steps back. Argie would still be shocked about the past weekend's result!

Or

They may have their tails up.

They know it's possible.

Just like beating the useless French ... they can now focus their attention on beating the useless Proteas.

We are after all only 2 positions above them in world rankings.

Boks will win and , especially with the argies resting key players.

the loss last weekend was a shock and emotions are running high amongst the fans cos u have never lost to the pumas before.
but last weekends results was an anomaly, Boks were complacent and enough things went wrong for them and right for the pumas to give us the biggest upset in rugby since the samoa beat the wallabies.

this team is looking pretty ordinary, but revenge will be on all the Boks players mind.

Boks by 30 pts.

Thanks for the revised designation - I will use it in future.  The old dead Springboks will turn in their graves about this lot - and the living ones will be ashamed that the great name of the Springboks have been destroyed to the extent it actually was.
So like Mozart because of his constant lies has been designated Herr Goebbels and the Springboks beca me the Proteas.
