Boks can't help but win today

The side is so much better with youth dominating for once only thanks to injuries to Meyers OLD faithfulls.
The only let downs are Jean at 13 and Pienaar at 9. Breaking up the great centre combo of de Allende and Kriel is downright stupid as is retaining passive Pienaar.
Koch is an improvement on Jannie as is Coetzee for Louw. Lood makes Vic look every bit his age...chalk and cheese stuff.
Great to see Marcel, Kolisi and PSDT on the bench. Young guns to show how it's done unless Meyer decides to play it conservatively. Also the lack of zip at 13 is concerning. 

 Snapster you are still getting it wrong re the useless Kolisi. If you want a small flanker rather go for the hugely impressive kriel. Kolis is a quota pick. I trust you can spot the difference in performance re Kriel and Kolisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Faf should have had a shot but Jean was wortha try. He is a classy player who has had a good rest. Whilst not fully match fit I think he could do well.

 Surprisingly I agree with Beeno in Kolis being average & Kriel being better.

Did you see the article about Matfield not retiring - posted lower down on the site.  he was apparently a glop as attacking coach for the Bulls as well - hence the problems the Bulls had in playing attacking rugby.  The article refers vaguely to problems he had with younger players.
The Bulls apparently cannot get a new coach - because of their contracts with the supporting staff, whom nobody wants as a coach - any new coach would like to appoint his own supporting staff.    No new coach would want Matfield with his out-dated ideas and undermining abilities in his coaching set-up.
I would not be surprised to see Fourie du Preez being selected for the WC Squad - purely on reputation and without any matches during the last 5 months.   Same with Matfield who seems to nurse an injury not to expose himself to showcase his deficiencies any further.
Nobody knows how De Villiers will go during the forthcoming games and later in the WC - but i think Pietersen will be a huge mistake if selected.  I can still live with Habana and Schalk Burger in the squad, but doubt whether Jannie will be as good as some claim he was in the last two tests.   He was nothing more than adequate - stable in scrums, which because he was better than he was over the previous year caused a massive amount of hype.
I would not take both De Villiers and Steyn for the WC selection - we should rather go with Serfontein as the better choice as a back-op center.
It is guaranteed that Meyer would bugger up the selections - a combination of the above would be a disaster.    

Beenkop I struggle to understand your blindness when it comes to Kolisi......he has explosive power always seems to break the first tackle, they love him here in England as do I. Class player who had a fantastic S15......wake the fuck up you fool. Kolsis is anything but small......get glasses for fuck sake.
As for Jaco Kriel, he is another class act who should be in the squad.
As for Jean, no he is not worth a go, he did nothing of note all of last year, is going to be that much worse after a serious knee injury. He was not a merit selection last year is going to be less of one this year. Jean is done and today will prove that.
