"If Carter was in the position Morne was with that situation there is no chance that he would bugger it up as totally as Morne did." If Goosen was in that position, he would have been tackled with the ball and he would have been out again for six months.

Stupid argument of our local "expert" and his gimps - jumping requires upward momentum and that means that normally knees are bent to get that momentum if not done in running.   There is no sign that Morne with straight legs can get upward momentum standing still.
And the Goosen argument is even less of an argument.  Goosen is a thinking player - not a dud thinker like Morne.   He would have sidestepped the coming player an d went forward and then kicked.   This is just showing up the real stupidity of our expert and his BSting gimps.

This is getting funnier than the time you were trying to convince us that Morne Steyn was signing for Paris Saint Germain. Keep it up oudste. You are adding great comedy value.

Best thing is for you to rather hush up.

The "egg laying" fiasco is reason enough ... don't you think?

Please ... I'm asking nicely.  Wee CC please take this as a request directed at YOU. Hahahahahahahaha
Could all you mean spirited people stop ganging up on ou maaaikie who made an honest mistake. I can see ou cerudunce windpomp wants another attack pack developed on this board. Some here know where that led to on Kamp SS.   Desist immediately! Thanks

When you make an honest mistake you admit it and move on. You do not try and convince others into believing that your "honest" mistake is actually the truth and that every body else are morons for not agreeing with you.

I did not just anything - but think the jump was not as high as some recorded - it is a physical impossibility and I stated why it is.    It was so small a height gain that it was barely visible.
However, what happened prior to the kick is no real justification for the F#ck-up Morne made subsequently.

Mike, my bud..... stop

Now you are saying that the jump was not as high as some had mentioned, yet you  started off by saying that the lie was that he even jumped at all

This thread is on the verge of pushing the Paris Saint Germain one off its throne as Ou Tokkie's biggest gaff of all times.

When you catch a ball head high it is not brilliant and the lie that he had to jump tto catch the ball is contradicted by the video that was posted.

Just a reminder Mike..... rather let this one go

Ag Kak - how do you kick a ball when in the air.   That little hop and immediate return to ground - which you called a jump was BS.   In any event there were a number of options and the poor kick was the last one that should have been used.   There was time for Morne to move a step or two to either side and the charge down charge  would have failed.  Your stupidity knows no bounds in this case.

And there was also no indication the Paris Saint Germain was not a football club when they were signing Morne Steyn, was there?

Sad to see the Bools lose to such a lowly team....but I'm sure they managed an offload or two. When are our coaches going to get that the 'new skills' can't suffice at the expense of our traditional physicality. When are our players going to show some real guts. . And how now Jan Stepfontein 8 metres in 4 runs, 3 tackles and a match losing yellow.
