Beirne wins a penalty at the breakdown. Aussies a bit lazy to clean out there. 3-0

Aussie pass goes nowhere. Errors they can't afford.

Lions in through Tuipulotu and it didn't look too tough. Aussie could be in for a long game. 10-0

Lowe hands off Jorgenson and Jones scores. Aussies look woefully outgunned here. Try might be cancelled. Yeah, he got up after tackled so no try.

Genge is a pretty decent carrier. Now some handbags. No head rubs, chaps.

Lynagh with some poor options at 10 not helping the Aussie cause and now Jorgenson beats Keenan in the air and sprints away to score. 10-5. You feel the Lions have given away their dominance here since Jones's disallowed try and Aussie is creeping back.

17-5 halftime. Not a great game. Aussie really suffering from a bog average flyhalf that brings nothing to their game. Physically it's pretty even and Aus has given as good they got at the breakdowns. You don't get the feeling they'll be able to challenge the Lions for a win though.

I think it is boring as well. The Lions abcklne seems ordinary with no real line breaks while the Lions have the upper hand up front. A hell of a lot of kicking on te Lions side in particular, ,

They were showing the Ozzie dressing room when I switched on.

Yeah Aus has been hanging in there but not much more. Apart from the snatch from the air by Jorgenson they haven't looked like creating anything.

Aussie making progress when they attack the spaces between the Lions defenders. More of that with the offload game and they might do something here, but the bashing straight into defenders is a battle they're not winning.

Ozzies going to the corner. They need a try now...they get over but are held up. Can we look at that again?

That's a try, why are they looking at it?

It's that Italian jerk linesman.

Oh no!

Both arms in the tackle by Earl? Ref is crazy. Try cancelled.

I will screenshot that tackle from the highlights and show what Ben O Tief's "both arms in a tackle" looks like.

Crazy to think that without that penalty a few minutes ago Aus would still have been in with a shot to win here now.
