Landers get a  penalty for 3 points in the last second of the game. A very competitive game! Congrats to the Landers, Bulls are looking good but came up just short today.

So Jackson had to win the game for the Highlanders - which they could not win themselves.   Wht a farce.

Already we hear the bleating about the ref from a few SA posters, I will wait for Beeno's assessment as he is a well known self appointed ref expert

Good point Cloudy, I was disappointed the Bulls lost and I can understand the disappointment in Bulls fans but as you said he could have missed a pressure penalty...they are the hardest and then it would have been a different tune...good game thats what really matters and congrats to both sides...well played.

Nah, he made the right call.

Just wondering how he missed all those "rush defense" calls earlier.

..SA media reporting the Highlanders made 170 tackles...Aussie media write Landers made 122 tackles....either way a pretty good defensive effort ....

it wasn't Glenn Jackson's call,.... it was one of the assistants',..... Jackson was controlling the ruck, looking the other side,... the assistant was controlling the offside and is very clearly seen pressing his chest calling Jackson,...

Jackson isn't the most accurate ref....but I think he is right down the middle, totally fair. He seemed a bit more pedantic than usual today, his games are usually low on marginal calls.

Bulls have to play smarter and learn to not give penalties away and also in a close game and take the 3 points instead of kicking for corner line- outs.
