cannot wait for a post meyer era boks team

i cannot wait for the boks to transcend that conservative mindset that meyer seems to bath in.....
the all blacks played into our pattern and the lack of respect for the ball possession cost the boks the game. playing to a 3 point kicks is not the bok way. our game has gone back 20 years

It was not only the absence of a game plan today - it was also the presence of a few geriatric players that brings nothing to the game and who contributed nothing today.
Even Du Preez is not the player he used to be - his service is crisp - but there is nothing creative in his game if the performance today is borne in mind.
I was happy with most of the youngsters and they will develop further with more experience.  There is a lot to look forward to - as soon as Meyer is g one our game can develop further - with him it stagnated.

the boks needs to transcend the mindset we have throughout our teams from currie cup to super rugby...we are in deep trouble with this mindset and we gave the game away before the game started 

  I don't want to put salt on the wound after today's losing but I wouldn't be so sure of Meyer not continuing,..... at last boks reached the semis, edge lost to the AB,,..... quite defendable outcome on the paper,...... wouldn't surprise if he stays at charge,....... IMO the worst posible situation for the SA rugby when they need to replace the old guard,..... the huge old guard the boks have

 mate if thats the case then sa rugby will be losing a lot of fans....
we know what the boks are strong at but its the weakpoints that the problem and what has meyer done on that ????

Meyer got the Boks within 3 points of winning it. I don't know it would have been much different if they had tried to run it more. Boks tried running it in the backs early in the game. 
The ABs kept the Boks in the game with stupid penalties so we have to get that right for the final.

 the ab's played into the boks hands thus the close scoreline
the boks just did not want to play the ball at all

 I think you mis-attribute the average Meyer era to Meyer rather than the main problem - quotas. Who was the last coach you were happy with? I'd be surprised if you get a coach that can much better. 

 mate you can have a million non whites in the team if you play this style of rugby you wont go anywhere. there is enough talent in sa to compete with anyone but we cannot be world beaters with rubbish tactics like this. 
yes quotas's main goal is not to win sport but to rather use sport as a socialist tool to exclude and control those that support it but we cannot lost the sight of the fact that we are not playing to our best abilitys

 Kiwibro you have raised a very valid point.
In all the communications I have read attributed to the SA Govt. they are determined to push the quota plan ahead at full steam with respect to Springbok selection.
This could lead to a major disaster for SA rugby at this stage.
I am not for a minute suggesting that there are no players of colour who deserve Springbok selection but to select someone on skin colour as apposed to skills is a difficult bullet to accept.
I have no problem supporting any skilled player irrespective of colour.
Even if the Springbok team consisted of 15 black skilled players I would give them unconditional support.
But as CC has stated in some of his comments it appears that the ANC folks want to change everything including rugby and we will end up with:
Zuma's Goats.

 I want him to go more than anything so we can move on but I fear he might stay

 No one I know has blamed any black player for any games lost.
But if u follow SA rugby since 1995 many a selection  has been made to comply with ANC transformation orders to include players who do not deserve the honour of representing their country purely because they do not meet the standard to compete at international levels.No names will ever be mentioned of players who meet that criteria because it would be unprofessional, politically incorrect and a smear on players who have been used.Saying that their are also numerous others who have deserved that honour and delivered excellent performances as u have stated.This is not about colour its about politics and politicians enforcing outdated policies in sport.Remember sport is played to win.So why select the rest when u can select the best.
Many players in SA who merit selection have been overlooked to allow for the ANC transformation policy resulting in fielding some below strength "TEST"  teams. Do u recall the ANC (minister of sport) call about the team selection in the last cricket WC semi final match against NZ for instance.

Quotas harm South African rugby ... no doubt about it ... however Zuma's Goats lost to Japan and the All Blacks because of an incompetent coach.
