How about congratulating the Mighty Chiefs Mike on a clinical display??

Clevermike Taufua had a strong performance i thought. Funny how the Crusaders beat the Sharks only to lose to a team that lost to the Sharks. Go figure.

Not hard to figure out awesome oak. The Sharks played a shocker. Ou rooitwit was so embarassed he disappeared for days!

That is asking a lot from our resident fault/problem finder. It is never about the other side having more and/or better ammo. It is always about this, that and the other useless player who cost his team a win.

Awesome
I should have added Taufua to the list of acceptable players.
I think the problem with the Crusaders are the same as that of the Sharks - too many over the hill geriatrics in their midst coupled to a person who has been the worst scrumming penalty machine this season. They should send Crockett to primary school with only one instruction - learn how to scrum legally.
Let me say the Chiefs thoroughly deserve their victory - but they still have one of the weakest scrum in the tournament. They have a magnificient backline and some very good forwards (Cane and Leitsh) - but I was not particularly impressed by the rest of the forwards anyway.

Retallick was awesome in only his 2nd game back Mike. I know you don't like him but fair's fair!!

Was crockett pinged for his chronic illegal scrumming Mike?
The Sharks Locks lack grunt and are old has beens for sure. They should play Alberts at lock

I think that Retallick was not particularly good today - I would say more or less average to above average - but he and Whitelock remains the two best locks in New Zealand. Awesome eh definitely was not - sorry to disagree there.

Lets hope Hnasen bows to popular demand from Cloudy and co and continues to pick wee mcaaaw - and of course old man Carter and the other wee ab has been oaks.
Hansen is like Meyer. Both have hung onto players too long and will need to play test greenhorns.

Wouldent be too fast to write off Richie and dc. Last year Richie sucked at super lvl. But went on to dominate at 7 for the abs. This was what his first game in ages dc too. Just saying form is temporary, class is permenant. Just saying give them the benefit of the doubt. Retillick average? Pfft he was outstanding.

Cloudy
Sorry to disappoint you - but Tim cannot play for the AB's ever. He played in the Samoa 7's team and that rule him out of selection for the AB's in terms of IRB Rules.
I would rather say Lowe is a very strong future candidate.

McCaw last year sucked at test level as well. So there is no chance that he would improve on that level at all.

Sorry mike have to disagree mccaw was a beast last year for the abs. Stats say he was the best international 7 in the world.

True Brycy, NZers are looking good, but at least us Saffas don't look quite as shart as the Aussies. LOL! Top team 3rd overall, forgetting conferences for now, and their next best is 10th!!!

That may have been the viewpoint of the NZ supporters, but just check how many penalties Mc Caw gave away - what was his missed tackle ratio in tests - possession turnovers and it was not really indicative of top performances. McCaw is way behind where he used to be and to argue that it is not so - as not realistic.
I would as a SA supporter love it if McCaw is playing for the AB's - since players like Sam Cane and Matt Todd would create much more problems that McCaw does.
