1st Half
00:08 - Very strong ruck clean after Bull's kick-off, stabilizing possession.
02:05 - Ruck clean in Bull 22.
02:34 - Tackles C9, but C9 passed just before contact.
02:49 - Takes C5 by upper body and drives him down to ground.
03:36 - B7 passe to Serf who has two Bulls on his outside. Passes early to allow faster backs to beat the mismatched forwards on the outside for a breakout down the touchline.
04:28 - Complains to the ref as he stands as in guard position by ruck. C4 picks and goes through ruck skinning serf who is not ready for the bust through. Missed tackle.
05:05 - C9 makes a dart for the line and Serf jumps on his back as C9 pushes forward and dots down.
05:46 - Bull Restart. Serf chases and catches C15 around the waist and brings him to ground.
08:33 - Loose ball and kick ahead by B11, Serf chases and gets downward pressure to score the try.
09:50 - Serf gets high pass from B, looks to his outside as defence drifts across, steps inside C12, steps inside again into the blind spot of C6, holds his line and slows his speed before bursting around the outside shoulder of C5. Eventually brought down by C9 with a high tackle weighing him down.
10:51 - Bull LO. Bulls throw to tail. Serf at first receiver, attacks the seam in behind the LO with hard run. POD loops around and supports Serfontein's charge and it turns into a maul. Ball eventually goes to ground just inside Chief's 22.
11:39 - Ruck clean.
11:55 - Chief's defensive line flat in 22, Serfontein grubbers in behind. Bull's try.
17:12 - Bull Scrum. Pollard kicks behind defensive line. Serf takes C15 head-on after
the chase and is stood up in the tackle as C7 and C12 drive in behind C15. At bottom of ruck as players go to ground; ruck.
17:19 - Rolls away from ruck, rejoins ruck. Clears bodies out the way exposing ball for B9 in a turnover.
20:25 - Chief LO. Ball is turned over at LO but loose, and bobbles around. Chief hacks ball toward Bull line. Serf retreats with B1 and collects loose ball dotting down in in-goal area. Scrum Chiefs.
26:53 - Drifts across as Chiefs attack wide after turnover. Takes down C13 who offloads to C11 just in front of him cutting back in the opposite direction.
27:01 - takes up guard position at ruck, and an attempted ruck clean with no effect.
27:35 - Chiefs on the attack. C12 is scagged by the ankles and turns as he goes to ground. He offloads to C15 who is right in front of Serf. No time for a tackle as C15 throws a lob pass out to C11 who walks it in for an easy try.
32:56 - Chiefs attempt the quick throw deep in their 22 and get caught. Bulls have the ball and struggle to stabilize possession. Serf comes in to support B8 by driving C8 back in the ruck and allowing ball to be presented for B4 to take. Bulls penalized for going off feet, B8 the culprit under pressure.
37:25 - C6 charges into B5 and Serf near touchline. B5 stands him up in tackle as primary defender, Serf attacks ball, but eventually falls backward.
37:46 - Serf patrolling the fringes and hangs back, C10 passes back inside to C11. Serf dives back inside and takes him around the ankles as B1 takes his upper body and brings him to ground. Chiefs with the forward momentum.
38:43 - Bull LO. Serf joins ruck after B7 hit-up.
39:56 - C10 engages Serf from broken play, he is angling his body position back inside to C14 and throws a pass in behind him which allows C14 to run onto the ball as he loops behind C10, taking play back on the outside where the Chiefs now have a 3v2. However, C14 decides to run back inside.
40:17 - Serf takes up scrumhalf position and throws long passout to B3 who runs it out wide.
2nd Half
44:56 - Turnover Bulls. B10-B12. Serf draws in C8 running towards touch which encourages three defenders to over-commit to the drift. Serf flicks a reverse pass to B2 who fumbles the ball on the reverse and the Chiefs attack with turnover ball from the knock-on.
47:28 - Loose ball by Chiefs. Serf attempts to hack loose ball back toward Chiefs try line, but is sucked into ruck as he slips.
48:52 - B10-B12. Middle of the field. Serf takes it to the line and passes flat to B7. B7 gets stopped in his tracks but offloads back to Serf. Serf turns and darts the opposite direction and is brought down by C5 after making minimal gain.
