Clive Rice passed away at age 66 , as I recall he didnt get to play test cricket for the Proteas but did get to play some ODIs and he was Wisdens cricketer of the year in 1981 . He succumbed to cancer .Shame we didnt get to watch him play in Test cricket but he was still one of SA crickets greats . RIP Clive Rice .
