Yes he could but he faces problems at WP.
There seems to be a fixation on small flawed players - ones who can do some things and not others.
Here one has to mention de jongh, leyds, Kolbe and senatla who cant defend adequately.
Collectively they are a disaster and Jones needs to sort out the mess Coetzee created.
Will the powers that be allow him to sign up playerd on.merit?
This is important lest the dom rugby advocates here and elsewhere say you see we cant play running rugby.
Never mind that the Lions and Cheethas can etc.
I have noted the Stormers wont win with these pap little fellows abounding.
They fall off vital tackles and are dominated at the breakdown.
Jones needs to act quickly and sign up some real backs not show ponies.
Put Kolbe at scrummie immediately. With that sorted and de jongh and leyds gone we might be able to carry Senatlas weak defence?

The weaknesses you mentioned are all starting with De Jongh and from their goes wider out. Luckliy for the Stormers De Allende will be back next year for the Super Rugby series - that will make a huge difference.
So what should happen for the rest? I like Robert du Preez as a flyhalf - he still make mistakes that would be ironed out by Jones. I think with proper coaching Johnny Kotze and Huw Jones can be very useful at center and Jones will turn Van Wyk into a top wing.
If as you suggested - Kolbe is moved to scrummie - the above would solve the Stormers backline problems - leacing a \gap at full back where Jones should take a good hard look at EW Viljoen.
Not insurmountable - but the stories carried to Cosatu will be endless.

I think Jones is strong and will not tolerate too much interference. Being a foreigner the race card will not work effectively if he goes for merit. It could well end in another walk out. We hope for better though.

I ran Beeno's thread title through the "Beeno-translator" selecting languages "non-sense" to "English". The result was:
McCaw is great, Eddie Jones could help change thinking here.
Thanks Beeno, Cloudy will be happy, glad you have finally seen the light
We appreciate your support

If Eddie is coming to Cape Town to retire as you claim - he is a very wise guy. Cape Town is known for being the city where "the art of elegant living" reign supreme and is much sought after by many of the wealthy from Europe. Would not be surprised if Dan Carter heads that way after his retirement from rugby.
