The last 3\20 minutes of the game the Chiefs scrum was at most stable against pone of the poorest scrumming props in SA - Vermaak - who should never in the first place have been in the match day squad.
In the first 60 minutes the Chiefs scrumming. They brought on Mackintosh at minute 46 - and he was slightly more stable - but he is also a useless scrumming prop, has been for years.
In most matches against SA teams the scrumming of the NZ super 15 teams are poor - their usage of the balls they do get - much better. Against the Springboks the same applies in respect of the AB's.
Fact is the AB's and New Zealand teams can win games when they get 35 to 40% possession in games - the SA teams with their defective backlines cannot win with 65% possession.
