He came in with a teensy bit of pressure and flopped again. De Kock was fine with the school boy paced Indian fast bowlers, but departed quickly once their spinners came on.
As I was telling you Miller will be fine when there is no pressure, de Kock will be fine against easy bowling. Sadly we can't always ensure those conditions, so they will continue to flop regularly.

Rabada looks like a prospect though....and AB is peerless.

I wrote elsewhere that the problem is not only Miller - it is the whole strategy of the team by opening or playing Amla in the shorter version of the game.  Amla is a wonderful test player - but not a shorter version player.  
His early run rate deficiency is a major problem - scoring at a rate of under 4 rpo inODI'd is just not on.  He normally picks up the run rate later in his innings - that is if he gets past 40 runs - which this season just did not happen.  That puts a massive pressure on his opening partner who have to keep the run tempo up.  
Yesterday all the batters bar De Villiers and De Kock failed badly and part of the problem was the pitch.   In India if you win the toss as a rule you bat first - because the pitch deteriorates badly.  However, the real issue to my mind centers around the batting order and the role of Amla in shorter versions of the game.  I would really not play Amla at all in ODI's and T20 games and use Rillee Rossouw instead.

I am not happy with Miller either.  He can be good - but the fact is he rarely fers enough runs in games.

Um you will find that all the SA bats struggled against spin......why pick out Miller, when Amla, Faf, Berhardien and Morris also failed against the spinners?
Its called perspective....had Miller been the only failure then you might have a point.....but as per usual you dont.
As brilliant as AB was, its the most uncomfortable I have seen him against spin for a long time, especially working towards his 50

 Miller was a deer in the headlights....as predicted, the moment the team needed an innings from him, he flopped. Great when the going is easy....a predictable flop when the pressure is on.

As was Amla, Faf, Berhardien, Morris and de Kock against the spin. Picking out Miller is laughable.

Which makes it even worse given spin was their threat. Poor Hash hit a good shot to get out....luck is not on his side at the moment
