Baboon-ou, some forums/blogs don't allow avatars to be animations. Not sure about this one. Also, you probably re-sized that pic and saved it as a .jpg file. You'd need to load it as a .gif file to get the animation effects.
My advice, don't bother changing your avatar. It's great as it is and to my knowledge, it's the first time you've shown any sense of self-awareness.

Talking of culture, that reminds me of a question I asked you on countless occasions that you have successfully dodged for about a decade now. Perhaps you remember the incident, ou Maaik . . . you were telling me and Baard on the old SS board what a cultured and classy individual you were and - by way of example - you told us that you even had "persinalized number plates" on your car. Now, forgetting for a moment how anyone could possibly consider that "classy", you never did tell us what the personalized number plate was despite us begging you to tell us for literally months on end. Any chance you can tell me now? I even remember the guesses that Baard and I made . . . mine was "KLARSE KZN" and Baard's was "STAAIL KZN". Please tell us what the plates were? Pretty please with a cherry on top!

I was suspended on the SS board for a few days about 10 years ago (by Baard of all people) but I was allowed back on and I carried on posting there until they shut the board down. Since then, I've only ever left any other message boards of my own free will, I've never been kicked off or banned from any message board.
