De Jager was stripped of the ball and Mozart wrote a whole thread condemning him in the strongest possible terms for the possession loss.
They are braodcasting matches of the past between the AB;s and the Springboks over the years. One of the matches was the Ellis Park test. This produced the famous line-out at minute 68 and beat Matfield in the air for the ball on Springbok throw - which lead to a try scored by the AB's - putting them in the lead.
The Springboks tried to counter-attack and the ball was passed to Matfield about 5 minutes later in the AB's 22. He got tackled and the ball was stripped away from him, resulting in the attack been wiped out.
Never a word was written by Mozart on these two Matfield mishaps - they were ignored but when raised on site - all kind of excuses were forthcoming,
One of the tests that was shown yesterday was the 2008 away test played in Carisbrooke - where our best lock ever was poor as well. He spent the ast 10 minutes on the bench after a yellow card - while his teammates were battling to win the test. Another memorable Matfield test.
