Ehat can we expect from Meyer on Friday

The SA WC squad will be announced on Friday and we can be sure there will be sone real disasters looming.  I think the squad will look like the following, with the disasters highlighted:-
Backline     -  !4 Players

Full Backs -  Willie le Roux, Zane Kirchner
Wings         -  Bryan Habana, JP Pietersen, Lwasi Mvovo
Centers      -  Jean de Villiers, Frans Steyn, Damien de Allende, Jesse Kriel
Flyhalfs      -  Handre Pollard, Pat Lambie, Morne Steyn
Scrummies - Fourie du Preez, Ruan Pienaar, Cobus Reinach
That makes 16 players and I think that it may be Kirchner and Frans Steyn that may be sacrificed.   He cannot eliminate Fransie because he has other options at center should De Villiers not being able to play.  He cannot afford to omit a scrummie - since the same problem is encountered with Fourie du Preez
17 Forwards
This is where Meyer would sacrifice all the wrong players to ensure his favourites are in the squad:-
Loosies    -    Willem Alberts, Duane Vermeulen, Francois Louw, Schalk Burger, Siya Kolisi
Locks        -   Victor Matfield, Eben Etzebeth, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Lodewyk de Jager, Flip van der Merwe
Props        -    Jannie du Plessis, Frans Malherbe, Marcel van der Merwe, Tendai Mtawarira, Trevor Nyakane
Hookers    -    Bismarck du Plessis, Adriaan Strauss
Meyer might leave out Flip van der Merwe to pick Steven Kitshoff to strengthen our prop situation - but that is very unlikely.
I don;t think he will select Coenie Oosthuizen because of his absence from rugby and the nature of the injury - but with Meyer one would never know.  He will persist with the "hospital ward" cases (De Villiers, Du Preez and vermeulen) so another addition would not surprise me.
With that squad we may have a 5% chance to get through to the semi and zero chance to get through the semi successfully.

I know that brits was better than Strauss - but is that going to be a consideration?  I also know Du Toit was far better than Alberts - but again the same question?
Fact is performance is not a basis for selection by Meyer - it is not even a minor consideration - so you get the weird selections we have become accustomed to over the past three years.
Please note the above is not the team I would pick - it is merely what I think the Meyer concoction would look like.
