It's more prevalent in today's society because people are no longer s..h..i..t..t.i.n.g. themselves by keeping it under wraps, like in the past, people are more outspoken about it these days, which has led to so many high profile people admitting it, which in turn has helped other less confident people do the same.

More people will come out of the closet, thinking, which it is, that it is more acceptable these days to admit it, than in the past.  But to say that the more people that watch it on TV, the more it will increase around the world is just plain idiotic.

Why do a lot of people confess to knowing they were g.a.y. when they were 5 or 6 years old?, saying they knew even back then?

So "peer pressure" and the "media" and "depression" cause you to become g.a.y

LMFAO !!.... I'm so glad Will and Grace is no longer a prime time tv show, imagine what that program has done around the world to the straight community over all those seasons.

I wonder how many converts there are daily after watching the Ellen show .......or .... oh no.... what about Modern Family.... oh my word... they will take over the world in no time.

You watch too much of this behaviour on tv, or you go through a little or even severe depression, or have peer pressure individuals telling you that you act like, sound like, and dress like a g.a.y person so you better well just be a g.a.y person as per Rooinek's reasoning.
