OK, but could we just get back  to the issue that you have been trying to avoid with your little tantrum. What is the difference between Esterhuizen's missed tackle in the JWC final and Morne's one at Ellis Park last year?

No Ceradyne, you were trying to be clever and it backfired.Steyn is good at what he is good at...or was good at it. Even that is failing him these days. He was never the best tackler. And even dear old Fly Halves can put in hefty tackles. He just isn't very good at that.
Just admit you are being pedantic for the sake of it and because you want to argue with Saffex.
Cricket, Mozart didn't even watch the damned game and he had to start a row about it !

My point Becs is backline players are often not subbed until a result is clear. There is usually little need to sub them barring some injury niggle. In tests backline subs often sit out the game.

But this was a Junior World Final! And it was as close as it could be. Why sub a player who is already approaching test standard when the game is in the balance. Surely if Esterhuizen was the player who was likely to break things open he would have stayed on the park?

Apparently the coach felt differently.

Has Becs ever once disagreed with SafeSex?

Just curious, because in the short time I have been around here, she always pops up at the most opportune time to defend him or backup his claims.

I wonder if they work within eyesight of each other, because the times where she comes on here with some comeback is quite startling.

No offense Becs, I thoroughly enjoy your posts.... just extremely curious is all

And if SafeSex is your toyboy... you go girl !!

I disagree with him all the time......in fact, I hadn't spoken to him from Saturday until this morning. All we did on Saturday was have a mighty disagreement/argument. One of the things Saffex said to me was that I was "delusional" . How's that for always agreeing with someone ? !!!
I do not work nor live anywhere near him, nor is he my "toyboy". He is, in fact, four years and a bit older than I am  And I am a single old crippled spinster, doomed to live this life alone.....because I am the most hideous woman alive. Whatever Saffex does is his business

This debate is a no-brainer, have a look at the video, there is a no more neutral judge.

The kid has a poor tackling technique so I hope he learns how to tackle, fortunately he has time on his side.

Moz if you had actually watched the game you will have realised that Etserhuizen got injured after his massive collision with his opposite number, Sloan - it was a monster impact which also resulted in Sloan getting injured. It was 102kg vs 106kgs of centres at full tilt.....Sloan was the player that landed on his arse.

So Moz, that is the reason Esterhuizen was pulled.

Denny so you conclude that on the evidence of one tackle, that he has a bad technique - are you fucking stupid? Let me guess, the huge impact he made defensively all JWC was due to his poor technique?

There is nothing worse than an ignorant poster passing judgement based on one missed tackle - geez how pathetically naïve - get a bloody grip man and learn the art of gaining the facts before speaking utter shit.

Theron's comment after losing Esterhuizen for the pool game against NZ was his concern that the Baby Boks will have lost the physical edge defensively without Esterhuizen - glad to be of service.

A question, how much of Esterhuizen have you ACTUALLY seen?

So your evidence is they played a guy out of position to sub him off....perhaps they just thought he was totally ineffective. And they were probably right because both Kriel and Duhan made contributions that almost saved the game.

Um no Moz he was injured, what part of that did you not get?

I doubt one of the stars of the side would have been judged as ineffective by Theron.

Which Kriel are you referring to? Jessie or Dan??

Its just a pity Duhan dropped a simple pass after being put into space by Gallant for a try......other than that he was good.

Nice to see you adding your 2cents worth though - particularly insightful for a man that never saw the game!!

Dont have to watch the game in this case becs. The Highlights amply demonstrate Esterhuzen missing a straightforward tackle for a try.....a disaster in a match that was decided by one point....if you can follow the arithmetic.

Going to define a players career over one miss tackle is counter productive and stupid. Kind of describes Mozart watching highlight packages of all the matches and making a verdict on it as a whole.

What you are actually saying is that you have no counter for that argument. You have actually not just painted yourself into a corner. You already did it last year, after the Ellis Park test. It just took you until now to realise that, you moron.

Geez, you make it so easy.

Bliksem ne. Let's look at the two scenarios:

1. Ellis Park.

Morne Steyn misses the first tackle. JJ misses the final final tackle and the ABs scores a try.

Your verdict: The try was Morne's fault.

2. JWC Final.

Esterhuizen misses  the first tackle. The next defender miss the final tackle and England score a try.

Your verdict: The try was not Esterhuizen's fault.

And you call me thick?

You are a fucking joke man. I cannot decide who is the most hilarious. You or ou CleverTrevor?

More like Ester than Esterhuizen. Will this kid learn how to tackle. The prospects aren't good, players who arent natural tacklers seldom learn the trick.

On the contrary I commented on only one incident....which I watched and described  accurately. You are in denial as usual....just as you were with Murray, Barrett, Wynand, JJ and now Esterhuizen. Just admit it.....Esterhuizen missed a crucial tackle and the Pom player broke directly  to 10m from the line, there was a brief breakdown and the Poms were over. That was a huge factor in a game the Junior Boks lost by one point....I rest my case.

No Moz, just as with the Barrett try where suddenly the likes of Jean and Morne were according to you excused of guilt and JJ was the sole blame, this case is no different......Esterhuizen missed with his rush, but play continued thereafter with other players missing tackles and therefore to blame him for the try is just laughable as with most of your takes on passages of play. The reality of the situation never plays any part in your analysis.......the prevailing theme is that you interpret these passages of play according to your rating of a player.

No doubt Esterhuizen has entered the Moz anti list - watch this space
