F du Preez, Vermeulen and JP.....welcome back

What encouraging performances from all these veterans. F du Preez was fluid and made good choices. JP was totally focused and showed what a huge difference there is between a real rugby player and merely a fast  wing.
Most encouraging of all was the last 20 minutes played by Vermeulen. For a while we weren't seeing the usual Vermeulen physicality.....it seemed as if he was testing the body. But in the last 20 all the patented Vermeulen moves started to appear.
Great to have them all back.

 DU Preez was very good yesterday - a massive improvement on the clueless Pienaar - and that was a serious improvement in backline play.  However, as per normal Mozart did not welcome back De Allende who put in a massive performance and that says it all.  The latter caused the Springboks massive benefits inasmuch he constantly put the Springboks on the front foot as a result of his excellent ball carries - easing the work of the half-backs in particular and the team as a whole when the ball was recovered at subsequent breakdown situations.
