Jerome
The problem here is Meyer cannot and will not look further than Fourie Du Preez and Pienaar as his selected favourites.
He is bound to take 3 scrummies to the W C and I am afraid he may overdose on stupid pills and not select little Faf as one of the three.

Meyer hasn't overlooked him, he put Faf into both training camps this year?
One thing Faf needs to brush up on is his boxkicking, but that's still better than Reinachs.

The players in the training camps doesn't give a true indication of which players will stay. Players can still be overlooked. When the squad is reduced to 23 players there will be players who will not make the final cut so there is a possibility that Faf will be overlooked, that is what i meant to say.
Faf de Klerk
Jaco Kriel
Ruan Combrinck
Franco Mostert
Mapoe
Those are the Lions players who could all be overlooked regardless of how great they have been this year.

He was injured before the Rugby Championship and EOYT, that's why he didn't get selected last year.

Hope not Denny. Jantjies has done more than well this year, but IMO he is a confidence player and he works well in his comfort zone at the Lions. Playing him for the boks will probably take him out of that zone. Hope I'm wrong though. Anyway, I don't think Meyer will gamble with Jantjies' playing style for the boks. I do think that Faf is the best of all the SA 9's.
