Let's hope like hell it's nothing like that for that side would not get past the quarters.

Poor side not reflecting the best SA has to offer but the kind of side useless Meyer will select.
Imagine selecting Matfield as your starting lock let alone in the squad as a whole.....its beyond comprehension.
The side I would select would be:
15. Willie 14. JP 13. de Allende 12. Serfontein 11. Kriel 10. Pollard 9. Hougaard 1. Beast 2. Bismark 3. Coenie 4. Willemse 5. Etzebeth 6. Coetzee 7. PSDT 8. Vermeulen
16. Strauss 17. Nkanyane 18. Marcel v/d Merwe 19. Jacques du Plessis 20. Carr 21. Reinach 22. Lambie 23. v/Wyk

He would do a better job ... by some way actually.

My only hope is that you aren't ever in the running for Bok coach ... cause then we're truly fcuked!!

Note we have JP on the wing. Kriel is playing on the wing, clearly not his best position...Steppie at 12 for speed. And at scrummie the lightning fast service of Hougaard showcased against Ireland and Wales.
In the pack Coenie at tighthead....say no more....backed up by the belly dancer. Stephanie isn't good enough to play lock, but he is a nice boy, so let's play him on the flank. And for good measure we include du Plessis to back him up, although does he then shift to lock.
Oh and Carr is our bench loosie.

With a team like this Saffex could.....why he could conquer the World.

Spot on CC and given we are now in August, there would be no issue at all in making a few changes to my April side......Serf is injured, so de Allende to 12, with Kriel at 13. Coenie is injured so in comes the impressive Marcel v/d Merwe to replace him. I'd also start with Kitshoff at 1.

Hell my side beats the crap out of any insulting rubbish Meyer or Moz would come up with.......hell Moz's pathetic side would include the likes of Jean, Morne, Pienaar, du Preez, Jannie, Flip, Matfield, Louw, Schalk and Alberts

Yep I like that side.....class players who are actually in form in my starting 15 ......one that would restore the pride in SA rugby.....as long as Meyer was nowhere near it

Mozart's advice on team selection works as follows:-
I like the following players -
Fransie, Morne, Du Preez, Alberts. Matfield, Jannie, etc
so they can bugger up and be bad as hell - but they are untouchable  and he will always have 50 excuses to cover their deficient plays.
I do not like the following players -
The list is endless and comprise especially potential selection threats to his favourites - virtually everybody below the age of 27 is unacceptable as well.  So if he cannot find means to demonize the players he does not like - he will invent a reason to attack any players he does not like - he will have no hesitation to slip in a lie or two as well.
Not wise to listen too much to what Mozart preach - check before so as to get the real story - the info he routinely provides has no relationship to reality.

Dave the only thing one can say for your model is its so naive no Bok coach will ever use it....so regretfully we never see the total disaster. Just the pieces like JJ.

Moz if a Kiwi was coaching our side his side would look very much like mine....ask I resident Kiwi, Sas who's sides mirror mine because he knows what he is talking about. Hell it takes a Kiwi to see past all the SA conservatism.....funny thing is Moz I never would take you for a conservative man....but if your rugby selections are anything to go by then conservative you are.

Dave I am a free spirit, I went to a Harry Connick concert the other night....brilliant jazz. Can't say I prefer it to Bach, but as a change of pace....

There is certainly time and he has the benefit of living here in England, so would save SARU the cost of a flight over here for the RWC. I'm sure that would seal the deal
I certainly look forward to the first outing of the " Saffex Springboks "Might even get the old SA shirt out and give it an airing

Saffex as coach will be much worse than Straeuli at HIS worst...

Saffex will drive from house to house to hand out Bok jerseys to anyone capable of breathing, as long as they are under 25 years of age.

His team (for this week) will not need to tackle at all, none of these names are known as solid defenders... le Roux, Senatla, de Allende, Sithole, Faf, Lood and Jacques du Plessis. You see there will be no need to tackle at all, as we will be attacking all day! We will run from the in-goal, from the 22, from the landing grounds, from the fields, from the beaches and from the streets.

Just a pity that that team would probably surrender even before they take the field.

And when things get a little tough, Bismarck, Etzebeth will calm things down.

And when (not if) they fail, we can expect 23 new faces the following week... He also has his excuses lined up. If a player performs poorly, he will merely say. "He was never my first choice anyway, but I would have him in my extended squad of 23,517,932.
