I see that Errol Tobias, Ray Mordt and Hennie le Roux all criticized Meyer's replacement strategy.
Tobias said he would never have replaced the front row while they were dominating. Le Roux questioned the timing of the replacements, as well as pointing out that the Boks tried to run the clock down by passively defending their lead.
Mordt questioned the replacements, saying it was probably to give the other players game time, but that it irritated him when people just dismissed the Bok loss as okay in the name of working towards the World Cup.
I agree with all three gentlemen, and am happy to see people with some credibility in the game pointing out the real reasons for the loss instead of the poor excuses Meyer is coming up with.
