Um ... JW ... kind of you to help ... but ... for me to access "my account" I first have to log in. It won't allow me in.

When I try to sign in it tells me ... "IN ORDER FOR YOU TO CONTINUE PLAYING YOU WILL NEED TO RE-ACCEPT THE NEW T&C'S"  and then it doesn't enable me to do so.

I have reset my password twice but to no-avail.

Rohan janse v Rensburg is now added to the player list. Quite expensive but worth it I think.

Clean, is there not a tick box where you can tick to say you have read the Ts and Cs?

yeah, there should be a tick box somewhere,... when I first logged in this season I think a similar message appeared but the only thing to do for accesing to your account was to tick the box accepting the terms,....

well, I'm in in both leagues waiting for the SR to begin,...

Welcome to this board. Hope you have what it takes to stick around. You aren't a Stormer I hope?

CC, it could be that the tick box is off the screen because you have zoomed in. Try reducing the size of the screen by holding down the ctrl button and pushing the - (minus sign) a few times.

If this doesn't work you must be on the wrong page of the site.

Good luck.

You should be able to login via social media platforms via facebook and twitter. I am not sure why you cannot check the box for Terms and Conditions. Maybe refresh? I don't know.

How many of you have Aussie players in your side? I would only look at Hooper, Folau, and Beale. But at this stage don't have either. Depends how their side performs. I picked Ransberg, bit expensive. But worth it I Think. My provisonal side.

Mike do you mean Damian Mckenzie? And A Pulu. And L Coltman. And K Hames.

Pretty similar team to mine. I think having various players from all teams is important.

5 From SA

Bench:

6 From NZ

I  do not like having two players from the same team in any position and only did that in the case of the locks and the Back Rowers - basically to keep the budget  under control.

However, there is also the problem that the Sharks  has a bye the first week and only picked two Sharks players to be on the bench in Round 2. .

Anyway great minds think alike,

Excellent ... if you had been it would have ruined our potential friendship ... lol.

I'm a Lion myself and will also be cheering for the Bulls this season. I think they'll be causing quite a few upsets this year under Mitch. He has a potent team ... all they needed was a little professional guidance and I think they have that now in him.

From what I've read, you've joined the fantasy game. Are you skilled at it? I totally suck at this version. Never really paid it much attention in the past. I intend to now as the bronze medal winner of last season owes me a scalp ... and I intend collecting it. Already have a spot on my wall picked out for his head.

Be afraiddddddddddddddddddddd ... be VERY AFRAIDDDDDDD!!!

Allow  me to tell you a funny story about the Blue Bulls.

Senior staff of the then Indian Education Department and myself had to travel to Pretoria by car to a meeting held he day before Eater Weekend (when no other  transport was available).   On the way back to  Durban there was a cattle farm in the Free State, where there was dry cattle dung all over the field next to he road.

We picked up some of those and went back to our office the following Tuesday.   In the office  one of the bosses were always talking about mhirr and honey - so we decided to give him Free Sate mhirr and put one of the dung cakes in an ashtray and set it alight.   It gave off a black cloud and stench like hell.   They had to repaint the office afterwards.

The rest of the dung we parceled up multi-times, and on the innermost cover we put a note "This is all that remains of the Mighty Blue Bulls after a defeat by the Natal Rugby team (now the Sharks).    We put the whole lot in a box and added a whole lot of official free and handle with care stamps and sent it off to a great Bulls supporter working for the Department of Indian Affairs in Pretoria,

He got the parcel and panicked since the sender was not identified so he called in the Police in to inspect the parcel.   After screening the parcel he was allowed by the Police to open the parcel and eventually they got to the last cover and found the note.   For the rest of his career he tried to find the culprits - but he could only suspect who it was.

ABF, overall things are ok family wise. I relocated to the US in 2016 it’s a “brave new world “ here these days. I leave for a three week vacation in NZ today & hope to see some rugby but the season won’t really be underway so I’ll have to be lucky to see a game. Good luck in this years super rugby comp. we are still missing some posters, eg oimatey sasukie & Cloudy. Oimatey always plays well.

you'll probably could see the first round,... but both games played in NZ are in the south island,... Saders-Chiefs and Landers-blues,... if you want to see your beloved chiefs you'll have to travel to Xchurch,... but facing the Mighty Saders could be a risky travel

ABF

I am really happy to see you back and participating in the leagues.   Don't worry - you have friends on the site, and you are a really good member.

We now have 11 out of 14 members iro Ruckers Forum 2 and need only 2 more members to have a full complement.    I am still hoping Sasuke San, Cloudy and oimatey will join us in that pool/  Any suggestions how to get hold of them?

The Ruckers Forum 2 Pool now have 14 members and the match-ups for Round 2 are as follows:-

Black Power    vs   Citystarsbears

Lukes Canes  vs  Wardad

Kombuis 15   vs  Uluru

Clevermike   vs   Butlers Beavers

The Tokoloshes  vs   Dunder Mifflin A Team

Killer Clowns  vs  Ditsha

Just Win  vs  Downeydelight

I am not sure about some of the members listed above and the likelihood is that new members checked the various Pools and knowing the maximum number of 14 participants entered the pool to fill up the numbers quickly.

We have now reached total of  19 members of the Ruckers Forum 1 Pool - the highest number of members ever I believe.

However, that leaves 5 members not being in the Head-to-Head competition so I have checked the Head-to-Head pools and came upon the ITCHY OBLONG BALLS POOL with only 5 members consisting of 3 Sharks supporters. one Lions supporter and 1 Bulls supporter.

It may help that pool if members not in Ruckers Forum 2 would join that Pool.

Sorry, Mike ... this is all new to me. It feels as though I'm stumbling around in the dark at the moment. I will find my feet shortly.

Wardad
I looked at some options and especially the hooker and BR situation. as well as the OB's
I wanted badly to have Ardie Savea and Kwagga Smith as loosies - so I was forced financially to have two cheap loosies expected to do well.   I think Kwagga is the moist expensive loosie - so few would select him.
I also cannot get beyond Marx as hooker,   Suggest you look at him rather than Creevy.
I have picked Davidf Havili at center and had to sacrifice Combrinck and Vorster in the process,  My third OB also represents a problem and I ended up with Mapimpi and Viljoen asd OB' s

Heasd-to-Head situation

The Itchy Oblong Balls Pool bow has 13 members and is likely  to be fully subscribed today.

The alternative is to nter as a member of the Michael"s League Pool.   That pool was not started by me,   It still have 7 vacancies

This budget is a pain in the ass.

I presume one can make a little profit going forward? Use that to contract better players later in the game, right?

I suppose if one picks a dud you'll lose money too, right? I wonder ... how often will the bench play an important role. Would it be wise to use it the same way Coetzee used his bench ... hide the useless cheap quotas on it and focus on your run on team?  Not that Coetzee did that either.

Some of these guys are absurdly expensive. It forces one to look for a cheap prospect ... one that may just surprise us all. A crystal ball would certainly come in handy right about now.

Looks like the one with the better strategy will come out on top. Who is that? Oimatey ... Hicks spawn?? Redneck? Redneck is an excellent gamer so i bet he's right up there amongst the top boys.

Can't wait to test my strategy against you lot.

Good to see the bronze medalist of last season there.
