Whew! What a ding-dong battle I had with Luke this weekend in our head-to-head contest. After the games the provisional scores showed that Luke had beaten me by 6 points, then they did a few updates and I was leading 482-477 and then, when the final results were put up, Luke had beaten me 492-487 . . . by 5 points!

Congrats Luke, I knew it was going to be close . . . just not that close! All three unbeaten managers in our League conference lost this weekend . . . Just_Win's Mighty Chiefs went down to a rampant Oimatey, Juicers lost to Awesome1 and I went down to Lukes Canes . . . so it's all very tight at the top with 4 points separating 8 teams.

I'm still in the Cup, how about everyone else?

In the Group conference (total score), I'm j ust ahead of ABasque and Ou Maaik while our conference is still 10th out of 1362.

Anyone know where we can see the conferences who are ahead of us? Either way, keep it up guys and use your trades sparingly. We all only get 57 trades for the entire comp and we're going to need quite a few trades for the knockout stages. Please note that when you use your Wildcard, the trades you use that week are free and they are NOT subtracted from your total of 57 . . . so use your Wildcard wisely. We can can win this thing so no slacking off from anyone!

I found the League rankings. You click on "Rankings" on the left panel and then you click on a button called "Top Leagues"

The top 10 Leagues are as follows (ranked by average score per round) . . .

Baboon-ou, you didn't have the balls to even enter so please note that when we want the whiny and sarcastic opinion of a cowardly, attention-seeking and stupid little man we'll be sure to put your name up. Until then, shut your silly little cake-hole.

Okay? Clear enough for you?

Congrats to Oimatey for topping the leader board for round 7. Unfortunately he was my opponent in the head-to-head comp.
I am still 4th in our league & fortunately I beat my SC cup competitor so I am still in that competition .
I am sure I would be no match for Beeno - if every he got up the courage to join the competition.

I made an absolute mess this week - had only 13 players and two on the bench - but will try and get it right this week.   I am still in a quandary and am looking for advice.
I picked two teams - one by using my Wildcard - the other by doing the ordinary 4 transfers.  Initially I thought the Wildcard usage is essential - but looking at the team I produced by using four transfers I am not sure whether the Wildcard is needed at all and may be much more useful later on.
Have a look under the team selection item where I indicated the situation and please provide advice on the issue.
