I think there is quite a lot of updating to be done in respect of especially the game between the Stormers and the Brumbies - but it looked like we are not going to do as well this week as we did last week.
In the meantime I am giving the Provisional results just for fun:-
1. Clevermike = 622
2. Blackpower = 607
3. Leaf Village = 589
4. Mighty Chiefs = 563
5. Saffex = 558
6. Oimatey = 526
7 Lukes Canes = 522
8. Juicers = 519
9 Awesome 1 = 481
10 Wardad = 454
11 Lightbringers = 452
12 XQZIT = 381
13 Qwaggas = 329
14 Unity XV = 267
I had a look at why the bottom fell out of some selections - especially XQZIT, Unity XV and Qwaggas.
XQZIT
This gentleman suffered as a result of a string of subpar performances by the following players:-
Aaron Smith, Warwick Tecklenburg, Ben Alexander, Scott Fardy, Christian Leali'ifano, Michael Hooper, Damian De Allende (matter of fact virtually all suffered because De Allende had a bad day at the office).
There may still be some hope for improvement - since I do not think the point allocation for the Stormers - Brumbies game has been finalized. XQZIT has 5 players in that category
Unity XV
Disaster struck here - and the following players contributed to that either thrrough non-selection or sub-par performances:-
Julian Savea, Sekope, Mathewson, Fardy, Kolbe, Malherbe, De Allende (he even had him as captain), Cane
Qwaggas
The list of failures here was even longer than in the case of XQZIT, Here we have also cases where players did not play and there were not subs that could off-set the deficiency:-
Havili, Wentzel, Mvovo, Aaron Smith, Alexander, Hooper, Sekope, De Allende - James Lowe did not play
The above represents a total points allocation on the following basis:-
Total Points scored - 6870
Average per player - 490,7
If that point allocation is maintained it is still higher than our present average points of 460 per player. Lets hope for the BEST.
I will update the above as changes come through.
