Climate change is all about manipulation of the masses IMO saw a very interesting documentary on it on the History channel c/ Ex-US Senator Jesse Ventura - google it for an insight if you can be bothered...

Population explosion is more detrimental to the environment long term and thank-you Mozart for the insight re the Volcanoes CO2 output - really shows how insignificant us humans 'aka locusts / grasshoppers' really are...

I have no doubt that the amount of industrial waste and carbon output of the massive factories and power stations in developed and developing lands are ruining the environment, more so on a localised level, but to point the blame squarely at this as a reason for spikes in temperature is very 'convenient'...

People with lots of money and power have lots of pull and the climate debate is the easiest way to create another layer of governance upon us - which I think will ultimately happen in the form of UN legislation...

All of this though will be insignificant as On WEdnesday the Aussies will take on the saffas in the first test whilst the winter Olympics fill in the time until Feb 22 when the Super season kicks off - then we will all have more important things to debate like refereeing decisions being to blame for the constant losses of the Aussies v the ABs....

Very true Red, some minor S15 matches are happening in SA, but the Stormers are only in action two weeks hence. By the way,by far the largest producer of greenhouse gasses is now China....totally missed by Wardud in his rant about the USA.

Poor old fellah ,your just trying to deflect the truth away from the one incontrovertible fact ,its you 'innit ,your the one responsible for global warming with that huge amount of hot air you generate ! [ its true you know I checked  google maps and a suspicousl ring of thawed ground can be seen around the retirement home for tiresome old biddys And that record Chicago temp ? thats when you moved there and started annoying the locals with your tiresome twaddle !And can you point out where I vilify the USA ? not one single instance is there ? ,so that makes you a liar as well as a pompous old windbag .

"out the tiny minority of scientists with an opinion that differs to the vast majority"

"there's a huge consensus btwin the scientific community"

"scientists who have reached consensus on the reality of "global warming”"

"Polar ice melt and glacial shrinking is an indisputable fact"

"Obiously, what is an evidence is the ice melting."

Bullshit!

"Climate change is all about manipulation of the masses"

Correct!

How clever is the Truth and the man they call Mozard

Jalapeño you have lost the plot, seemingly in an endeavour to sound knowledgeable you make derogatory statements to hide your ineptitude.   You sir are a crackpot of note who shouts abuse at people who do not share your pathetic views (whats this space)

(whats this space)

What's what space, chump?

I suspect you meant to say "watch this space" but you don't have the cerebral capacity to put even a basic three-word sentence together.

Waaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha!

Do me one small little favour, Mole-iavelli, if you simply have to say anything to me (and really, don't feel obliged), please brush your teeth first . . . or at the very least take a peppermint or something . . . because your breath smells pretty disgusting after all that arse-licking.

This is the global cooling fear

Intense flooding in the low countries of Europe became “darkly repetitive” during the Little Ice Age, writes McKillop. The cooling period  lasted 450 years,

MOz thanks for taking the trouble to enlighten poor warped DUD and rooitwit on these elementary matters. Rooitwit is a fine mole spotter but on more serious matters he and warped dud are mere sheep and ever so politically correct. Led by the nose they are. Gullible cannon fodder for the press.

Pfffffffffffhahahaha!

No surprise to see Baboon-ou . . . the same ignorant buffoon who believes he's disproved Evolution by quoting literally hundreds of pages of laughably naive and stupid junk from the hilarious www.answersingenesis.org website . . . and who once put up some photo-shopped "evidence" of a dinosaur footprint over a human footprint in an attempt to prove his ridiculous Young-Earth-Creation theories that require humans to have co-existed with dinosaurs . . . no surprise then to find this same fool on the side of the global warning denialists.

Baboon-ou, for your information, there is no longer any debate about global warming . . . not among scientists or intelligent people anyway. The debate is over in case you missed it. It's now accepted that we have contaminated and polluted our planet and the atmosphere to the extent that temperatures are rising. The only people who still dispute this are very stupid people (like yourself) and very selfish people who demand their right to continue exploiting and stinking up the planet and who couldn't give a flying toss about sustainability or future generations.

But please, don't stop banging on about the "myth" of global warming on my account . . . the fact that a dribbling half-wit like you doesn't believe that global warming is happening only gives the people who actually care about the earth's future more credibility.

Now that's classical. Ocean levels are supposed to rise in future, when massive ice melts take place. But these loons are already anticipating the event. There are a hoard of these climate loonies just waiting to measure an inch rise in NY or La and zippo. And we are supposed to believe the Ocean is only rising near some Pacific island. It's not possible unless water no longer seeks a level

For those morons who believe sea levels have been steady and only increased with man made global warming. The answer is of course, sea levels have been rising for millennia, driven by a naturally warmer planet  which causes expansion and ice melt.

But has the one  degree rise over 150 years, probably natural in origin, caused the small ocean rises we see. Or do we have a backdrop of rising levels as the chart shows. Which gets us back to all the dubious reasoning.

But one thing is for sure....the ocean hasn't risen a ft in the last 20 years anywhere on the planet
