Habana and WC record.

I was shocked to see Habana being taken off with 15 minutes to go.
Regarding Habana not breaking the record. I would have thought that the team as a group would support  him in his effort to break the record.

Finally some stupid P.R.I.C.K made the decision to pull him out of the game and deny him that opportunity and his place in rugby history.
Disappointed to say the least.
Talk about team unity............

savea is better than habana ever was.

habanas highlight reel is aided by the fact that the backline teammates hes played with in his career are attacking rugby illiterate. anyone could shine in those circumstances.

the real mark of a superstar is being surrounded by stars but still shining brightly, like savea has done for most of his short career.

 Bwahahahahha ou saSUE getting it hopelessly wrong. Our backline, apart from when Eddie Jones was on the scene, has misfundtioned for years.
During that time in a non functioning backline habana scored heaps of tries. savea has most of his tries handed to him on a silver platter.Habana has to make his.
Savea has along way to go before he can be mentioned in the same breath as Habana.

 Habana always overrated! Gave away as many tries as he scored by rushing up in defence and missing his target more often than not!A liability against good opposition who relied totally on intercepts.

It's very curious, or strange, what Meyer and he himself told to the press after the match .
Meyer said that he took off Habana coz he was suffering from cramps

Meyer: ‘Habana came off due to cramp’
while Habana didn't mention the cramp but:

"Habana was replaced by Jan Serfontein in the 67th minute against Argentina and the Toulon flyer admitted that he didn’t have a great game and said he understood why Springboks coach Heyneke Meyer took him off.

“No real emotion,” said Habana when asked how he felt when he was replaced.

“The coach wanted to get some buzz up there. I was pretty disappointed in the way I played so I thought it was a justified replacement."

 habana overrated ???? sorry gents savea is nothing more than a flat track bully....in terms of rounded skills habana is 10 times the winger savea is.
with the type of rugby that has been played for him to be even close to the record is nothing short of a miracle.
the rubbish kick and chase crap robbed many a backline player of tries over the years

 Habana best and most consistent winger and a legend, Savea a legend in the making. 

Habana in his early days was as fast a player as there was in the game. In his later days the express pace waned..but he still read the game brilliantly. Habana makes mistakes, but they are errors of commission. He tries all the time and never shirks taking contact. He made some crucial steals for example in this WC.

You never hear of Bryan that he didn't get any chances....he looks for the ball unlike so many Bok backs. The greatest wing of his generation, my abiding memory of him will be Schalk scooping the ball up against Oz, near our line.....feeding Habana who gassed Drew Mitchell who had the angle on him and then burning the Aussie cover, all from ninety metres.
One of the players who make rugby a joy to watch.
