I see the Force came close to beating the wee chiefies after playing most of the match with 14 men. Who can doubt that the Force would certainly have beaten the chiefies if they had a full playing complement!

Realistically without a card advantage helping them, kiwi sides would probably win under 30% of their games?

Now I see the Brumbies pumping the wee highlanders. Its 31-18 after 79 minutes.

Meanwhile the BIG match this week end is the Mighty Stormers versus the Bulle. All eyes will be on Newlands as the game moves on to a different level.

Yup Brumbies hammer highlanders 31-18. Last week it was the Warts beating the hapless crusties. Canes also got cained last week.

Pretty gloomy reading for the kbbs

Beans, how is the weather on your planet? Have a look at the log, 3 NZ teams in the top 6. Their 3rd team level with our top team. Hardly gloomy reading for the kbbs.
Anyway, that said, can't wait for the Stormers - Bulls game tomorrow! Should be a cracker! If the Bulls front row can hold their own, I think they'll win, if not, it is going to be a long day at the office for the boys in blue. It really is 50/50!
May the best team win....as long as its the Bulls!!!

Bluebok I met Scurra in Newlands this morning. Very quietly spoken young guy. He says Stormers will win. Pretty diplomatic too. I commented on how the Stormers had been shafted by the ref and he just said some calls had gone agaisnt the team - very diplomatic!Hope Howard goes well. He must be a bit rusty but is a good players.
Bluebok the hapless kiwis may have shot their bolt. Note their recenty losses. Also remember they have won games they were not entittled to win. Hence their log positions are, as always, inflated - as are their egoes! Bwahahahahahaha haha

Was Scarra a nice guy Beeno? He's one of the unsung heroes of the Stormers team in my opinion

Well said there Draad but remember to have some comforting words for poor Owen Meany when the Mighty Stormer matadors put the bulle to the sword!

 Brycy
I was not overly impressed by the Chiefs yesterday - they looked very good on attack - excellent off-loading and passing game,  However, I still have doubts about -
*   their forward combination; and*   defense
They should not have let in the Force to score 4 tries against them.   Remember this is the same team that played the Stormers last week and failed to score a single try and for more than half the match played with 14 men.
Maybe the  Chiefs felt too comfortable and let themselves down a bit defense - but I still have reservations.

...not so clever mike, must admit was cruel of the Chiefs to toy with the Force like that and let them get their hopes up..the Chiefs were poor you say but still went to the top of the log...so I can live with that...Chiefs backs were a real joy to watch

...probably see the Chiefs experimenting with a different flyhalf next week...think they may alternate between Horrel and Damian McKenzie but Marty got his chance yesterday with mixed results..

...big loss to the Chiefs and the ABs to lose Cruden so winning is no longer guaranteed but will now require a greater effort...

The kiwi teams are on the skids Brycy. Oz sides are bossing them as happened last year.Man the Chiefs could barely beat the Force with 14 men!!!

...Bean Brain it's Arstralian rugby that's in crisis ...flagging crowd support, lack of funds, player exodus etc...luckily NZ is here to prop them up like the good neighbour we are...pretty sure the Mighty Chiefs have already beaten all their top sides this year with bonus points as well so please try and keep up with events mate ...

Crowds doesn't seem too big in NZ either. Newlands was sold out early in the week.

Although the current Cheetahs/Lions game is one of the best games this season...like watching a kiwi derby. DbDraad yeah paint it anyway you like,  the Webb Ellis Trophy still sits in the AB cabinet amongst all the other trophies and titles.  I could mention the European tour  last year as a counter but hey why bother

It would appear that the SA teams Super 15 sides are getting better. The big pity right now is the Sharks have some key players out. Otherwise one would back them to whip some lardy kiwi butt! Ooops I forgot the ref problem!

Beeno: if kiwi teams are struggling it is only against our own high standards. Mighty Chiefs are 7 points ahead of the wee Stormers.
