Every time I see Vorster playing I am more impressed with him.  He played opposite Fekitoa - an All Black - today and had an excellent match.   This guy is developing as a star center and I think his performances at both 12 and 13 are so good I think Meyer should take note and try and solve our 13 problem by using this guy.   Definitely top class.

Definitely of the De Villiers mould, contrary to Moz's belief!

If something is contrary to the beliefs of a naive rugby-noob and all round general arsehole like Moffie then it's probably right on the money.

When Mozart criticizes a player without seeing him play - you can be absolutely sure he is talking BS - but that is normal with him.   He already started off saying Vorster is speed - deficient.

Vorster is more suited at 12, he's a talented player however i think he needs another year or two to develop for the boks, he's still new to Super Rugby hence why it would be more reasonable to not rush him into the deep. De Allende is of course the best SA 12 but Vorster wouldn't be a bad backup player to have in the bok squad.

I've watched all of the SR matches so far, i can safely say Lionel Mapoe has been the best SA outside centre 13 this year, theres no doubt about that. He's got all the skill sets and is quite experienced to play at the higher level. De Allende at 12 with Mapoe at 13 is the combo that Meyer needs to consider.

Well more in jest let me recall
Moronic thought Jordaan was the upcoming 13

RooiAAs' great centre pick was Bred Berritt
And Shezza was passionate about JJ
I haven't seen enough of Vorster to reach a conclusion, but he looks a bit slow, particularly for 13. I'll keep you chaps posted so you can moderate your opinions and avoid embarrassing flubs like the above picks. Of course I warned each one of you about these picks, but you all decided to go your own way...hahaha.

Passionate is an exaggeration, best of a bad bunch and definitely ahead of De Jong in 2013 as well as playing well in the 2013 Super 15, turns out Serfontein made him look good with all the space he created.

And in addition, I see Vorster more as a 12.

13 JJ Englebrecht
Ran good angles and caused havoc with the Italian defences. He showed incredible pace and while still raw, he has huge potential.
8/10

Jog your memory?

Define the word potential for me.
That's not passionate, that's being truthful...

How many matches have you seen in which Vorster played?

Gosh I thought you had the best claim to the village idiot title. Did you matriculate Moronic?

Answer my question - swindler?   It was plain and simple - how many matches in which Vorster played have you watched?

Since Vorster might potentially replace De Villiers - does anyone know how De Villiers recovery is going?

Latest news is that he is recovering better than expected and his rehab programme indicated that he would be back to play in July.  However, there is a problem in the rugby programming this year with the WC in mind.  De Villiers will not be matchfit in July and ready to be involved in the RC tests.
he himself said he would start playing Club games in mid-July - and there may be some CC games before the departure of the Springbok squad that he can play in - but he would have  very little rugby before the WC.
I think Meyer would put him on the bench for the latter part of the RC and give him some playing time to see how things turn out - but there still is no way to properly assess his matchfitness before the WC.
