I was watching Part two of the programme on the De Villiers' Rehabilitation and Matfield came on to make some remarks. He looked gaunt and his face was looking sunken - grey beard and all. He really looked older than the 38 years of age he really is.
I do not think that he is going to make it through to the WC since he looked very tired and I doubt whether he would make the grade as a lock in any event.
