I listened to shocking commentary of the game on YouTube but the guy did say it was the biggest hit he has ever seen by Boulle who was playing wing but is a centre

"Plum you obviously didn’t see Finau’s hit on the Red’s fly half last weekend. Now THAT was a hit! What’s with the Junior Boks chickening out and kicking the ball out on full time? NZ tried to win the game by running it from inside their own 22 but you guys wouldn’t play ball!! Had a penalty kick they could have put way into NZ half FFS!"

Yeah, I was busy typing "Boks kick to the...," on my commentary, and then they tapped.

Not in the spirit of this level of the game. One is suppsoed to be taking a step up AND making memories...which you can't do if you chicken out.

Stupid call and not one I'd have made. It's a choice that makes everybody a loser on the day.

Reminds me of the chicken run. We have to get back to the joy of competing vs the all embracing need to win….or in this case draw.

This also suggests, despite our WCs our rugby men are still happy just breaking even with NZ. But that was clear when we were happy winning by one point against 14 men.

We won against 14 men without a specialist hooker for 78, were down to 14 men in the last 10min and it was pissing with rain Who gives a flying fuck that we won a WC final by one point - We WON

Sherwood is the next big thing he was very good in general + he offloads and his defence was solid….Zachery Porthen the Captain stood strong in the scrums….geez a lot of good young talent….but it’s obvious that there is something missing in Coaching here….many times it looked like they did not know what the plan was a bit toothless….they play very similar to the big boks….if you don’t know what to do, kick it… and kicking the ball out at the end, proves there is no killer instincts instilled…I agree they should have taken that chance for the win.

Actually as this game proves, it’s more about not losing. We still haven’t adopted the mission of finally supplanting the ABs. When will the penny drop, we have the talent to be dominant

No they're not. All it's takes is 5-7 best in position players to be in the same team, with the rest made up of guys that could be argued as being the best in position. Like Waugh's Australia, Richie's ABs, or Casillas Spain... Were it not for Ireland suddenly being better than they've ever been, the same world order of Rugby still exists.

The top 8 sides are all very close and with the globalist nature of it all these days, exposure and spread of talent makes every side very competitive The likes of Argentina eventually and Italy heading that way is spreading the net More than anything it’s no longer so much about the individual but more about the whole. It’s this fact that is the reason I can’t see one side dominating for any length of time

It’s been the Boks and the ABs for 5 world cups, over 20 years….two dominant teams. But over that time the ABs have beaten us 2 to 1. Even at WCs it’s been 2 to 1 over that period,
My view is it’s more mental….instead of attacking them when we were a man up, we almost defended our way into a defeat with a lot of luck….kicks vs missed kicks, the penalty incorrectly given again Savea, the Kolisi non red, the bounce that went to Willemse when any other bounce was an AB try.
Others may disagree….whatever…the point is we need to win the RC a few times to supplant the ABs. This year we play both games in RSA. If the ABs win one of those mission not accomplished.

That’s rugby - AB’s try was not a try, Kolisi botched an easy try, we can go on Your take on a WC final is absurd and any player involved in a WC final will tell you so. Everything is far more measured in a final, far less chances are taken. You do whatever it takes to win with minimum risks taken . How you win is of zero importance But agreed we need to beat the AB’s more than we do and that needs to be the case now. We are heading in the right direction given the past two encounters

How the hell does a ref call back a try because of a knock on, but not reverse a penalty when he admits before the kick, that he made a mistake.

"Everything is far more measured in a final, far less chances are taken. You do whatever it takes to win with minimum risks taken . How you win is of zero importance" When you win by a small margin, simple logic tells you that your win is more risky. Winning by 1 point is as risky as it gets. Do you agree, yes or no, Fat Lip? It's really not difficult. The bell goes, and shortly after the fight starts, one boxer injures his power hand. He's only left with a jab to use for 11 rounds. The other boxer thinks, "Well, throwing power shots is generally more risky. So now that he can't throw any, I don't need to risk throwing any either. I'm gonna jab him all night." The injured boxer thinks, "This clown refuses to throw a power shot! Thank heavens, because it's now a jabbing contest and I can still jab." The fight goes all 12 rounds and eventually ends with a split decision that could, and almost did, go the other way. And Dave, in all his wisdom believes that the uninjured boxer took the less risky route. You cannot, you really cannot, be this damn stupid Fat Lip. At this point, I'm convinced you're trolling.

Oh fuck off Buttplug you are too stupid to comprehend the obvious It’s a WC final, history dictates they are won by small margins The margin in this one was small because the opposition were up to the task of fighting as hard as we were for the win - helloooooo Are you too fucking stupid to work out that the Boks without a specialist hooker were unable to drive home the set piece advantage they should have been able to achieve with the AB’s down a man, that the Boks to were down a man for 20 min including the last 10 and that the game was played in the pouring rain, again negating the ability to effectively spread it wide to take advantage of the man down. Injured boxer my arse Geez you are fucking stupid

There is 15 Players in our team, if you only predominantly use 8 of those 15, it will always be a Arm wrestle ….ending with a 1 point victory, a Loss or maybe a draw….all we are saying is, that it’s unnecessary to play such limited Rugby giving our Backline Talent ….using our Full potential ( besides our World class Stampkar ) wil give us more of a buffer and Wins can be a bit more comfortable….Knowing how tight competition are in WR, it’s illogical to think we will always win by 20 points….but having a win with 5 to 10 points is respectable enough and not these 1 point desperate grind wins….some want higher standards for the Boks and there is nothing wrong with that….evidently Tassels wants it to, no wonder he got Brown onboard.

Here...

  1. Check the locations where your streaming service IS available.

  2. Obtain a VPN.

  3. Visit www.nord.com - It's around $1 a month or something similar.

  4. After subscribing, log in to your VPN and set the location to match the results from step 1).

Now you can watch South African Netflix too.

I nearly discarded Ripley when I saw it was based on the same story as the rather average movie The Talented Mr Ripley starring Matt Damon but I persisted and can confirm that the series is much better than the movie and definitely worth watching.

I liked them both, I have to say. But the series was able to build the characters better because they had more time .

I have to admit that I did watch ‘ One Day ‘ as well. It was decent enough for a romcom and the music was really good…..took me back to my youth .

I’m watching ‘ The Tattooist of Auschwitz ‘ at the moment. It just started on Sky.

Has anyone watched ‘ Baby Reindeer ‘ ?
