In dealing with the above - I bore in mind that the number 6 position in NZ and Australia is in fact the blindside flank and the openside flank is no 7.
Basically I considered the actual performances on the field of play, but also the stats of players.
There ar some players who did very well and those unlucky not to come into the picture are -
* Jesse Kriel at full back
* Christian Leali'ifano at 12
* Andy Ellis at 9
* Duane Vermeulen at 8
* Mike Todd at 7
* Heinrich Brussow as openside flank
There are some players that would normally perform much better than they did on Saturday and in that category I include -
* Nemani Nadolo at 11
* Aaron Cruden at 10 - in fact he was sub-par
* Kieran Read at 8
* Warren Whiteley at 8
* Sam Whitelock at 5
I suppose the journalists TOW will look different from the above - but I also know they would not have done their homework before writing their normal one-incident team. They would also not look at the opposition and the poor team effort - like was the case in the Sharks match.
