Kriel could not pass. Blew that try opportunity after Morné put him away. There was another.
Damian was good enough, considering that he had time and space. The try was soft though. Against direct physicality and tight defence, it's a different story altogether. If the USA test is your litmus test, then you have low standards.

Fox, Bryan Habana was over the try line and simply had to dot the ball down, and somehow managed not to score the try. Is he a bad player all of a sudden? Yeah, didn't think so. So Kriel made a poor decision and probably cost us a try, Bryan couldn't catch a ball that was straight in front of him and already over the try line, and cost us a try. All players get it wrong, even the best of them!
One thing I will say, I am very worried about Mvovo. His try should not have been awarded, and in my opinion he is a liability. Pietersen and Habana will obviously be our first choice wings, but if he is the next best if one of them are off the field, then we have a problem! Even against the US he looked vulnerable, and almost (actually did) stuffed up a simple try finish. He is much like Lambie in my opinion, lots of hype....not much else.

Dim Fox
So what do you know? Your lies about De Allende covers a book - but lalow me toe explain something to you that is wrong about Kriel's methodology at center that you have not seen and knows nothing about.
it is relatively simple - when De Allende broke throu tackles and he is in space he has the hand in both hands and can pass either side of him. When Kriel does the same he kept the ball thrust against his body and does not often enough take it in hand allowing him to pass the ball to either side rstly enough, It is not too difficult to chang that minor deficiency.
By the way dimness you center who are better than BOD did not have a convincing game on Saturday playing in a team that had the upper hand so to believer you about center performance is definitely not advisable.

Bluebok, Mvovo has it all as far as the hardware is concerned but the software is suspect.
Michael, Kriel has not shown an ability to create, only finish. We have a wing and fullback at centre.

Habana is a proven entity, Kriel is not. What has Kriel created i n all his tests? I know he is an elusive runner, but what about passing? If he hasn't done it before, couldn't do it yesterday, why should I believe he can do it against Wales or Australia?

Damian is strong in his legs. Where are these imstances where he runs over opponents and these monstrous carries? Reference them.
As for kriel, where has his distribution been a factor for the Boks?

Habana was not over the try line...he was diving for the ball, and just as he was about to take possession it did a rugby bounce.

He was sliding along the ground and would in the process have gone over the goal line if he got the ball properly under control. At the end of the slide he was in fact over the goal line.
However, that was not the issue discussed it relates to the issue of Kriel - which you called weak and De Allende which you and Dim Fox has demonised for many months now - disregarding anything he does and making unsubstantiated claims as if they are gospel.
I explained a relatively minor technique problem that Kriel has - which should have been corrected long ago by the coaching staff of the Bulls and of the Springboks, Thar it was not corrected was entirely due to the dud coaches of the Bulls and the Springboks (both the backline and attack) coaches involved. It will likely only be corrected next year by the new Bulls coach and his staff.

Dave, stop looking at the stats sheet and tell me where those runs over opponents are.
