Let's face it, Dave ... that is a potent squad ... and would kick some serious ass.

I would change a few things here and there but other than that ... if you happened to be the Bok coach, you'd have my full friggin support.

We can go to war with that side!!

I would bring

Joe Pietersen in at 15 ... HouGat to the right wing, Frans Steyn off to Robin Island, Ruan Dreir in place of Coenie, and Kolisi joining Fransie on the boat over.

I especially enjoy the fact that I see no Morne and no Victor and no Du Preez.

Jantjies can stay as he's had a cracker of a season this year.

Yeah that's a real squad unlike the crap Meyer has thrown our way.
Don't rate Joe at 15, he looks better at 10.
Coenie is our best prop with ball in hand and was very solid in the scrums this year. He is a must.
Hougaard is wasted on the wing...is on fire at 9 for the Bulls right now playing in an attacking minded Bulls side.
I'm a big Kolisi fan....like his raw strength....but would be more than happy with Jaco Kriel in his place.
My squad would win the WC

Coenie may be good in the tight-loose but sucks at scrum time ... which is his primary function.

A penalty machine because of his favourite past time ... hinging. Not a tighthead at all. Never will be. Dreir is far superior at 3 and for that matter at 1 too.

Joe is a better 15 than Willie. He also has a superior kicking game and is deadly accurate at posts. Can play at 10 if needed. There's no comparison.

Besides that, he's streets ahead of useless Kirchner. How he never made the squad is beyond me.

Kolisi is strictly a quota selection.

Can't even crack the starting 15 at super rugby level. He is however better than Oupa Mohoje but if I were forced to select a passenger based on race then I'd rather go for Carr. He at least has talent and can play at eight too.

HouGat doesn't have the kicking game needed at 9 and struggles to pass off his left hand. His strengths lie with his pace, his work rate and his defense. By far the best 14 we have currently. I would select him above carthorse JP no question.

Like I said ... no one will ever be happy with all the coaches selections.

Getting the core right is however vital and that is exactly what Meyer messed up.

Wrong, Coenie has never been a problem at scrum time and has been anything but this year. I don't rate Dreyer.....solid at best.

Joe better than Willie at 15........what the hell are you smoking......Joe offers nothing with ball in hand whereas Willie constantly keeps the defences guessing with his unrivalled creativity. Joe is not a test player. Andries Coetzee of the Lions is a better 15.

Disagree on Kolisi, he is a merit player and did start the majority of the S15

Hougaard might not have a kicking game, but who wants a kicking 9. His passing off both hands is no better or worse than any other 9 in SA. He is on fire at the Bulls right now, playing where he belongs at 9. He and Faf are the only two 9's we have attacking clout.....which is what we want

"What I want, I don't get". Posting this same wishful thinking squad over and over and over again won't get it for you either. Either get behind the Boks or don't. Your squad will never see the light of day.

Saf, most of your starters will e in the starting line-up anyway. One thing that I really don't understand is that you can pick JP as a starter at 14, yet Habana is 4th in line @11? Surprised JP made your squad.

Dave, Dave, Dave ... please man ... your heads not in the fresh air ... again ...

HouGat was completely outplayed by the Cheetahs rookie the other day ... no way I'd want a weak link like that anywhere near the Bok 9 jersey.

Besides that, I've seen many a pass of his bounce twice before reaching his 10. We can't have our play maker waiting for the ball to eventually arrive.

At least you've agreed that HouGat doesn't have much of a kicking game. That's progress, Dave.

Faff is streets ahead of HouGat as a 9. Not only with his kicking game but as an overall scrummie. There is no comparison.

Willie loses his way at times and gets us into trouble. He makes stupid decisions that cost us in the end. He's better as a wing. Too much responsibility at 15 for him to handle properly.

Joe has a steady head, a far better kicking game and as I said plays a pretty decent game at 10. Best thing is to leave Willie on thee bench.

Coenie is not a test player. In fact he's not really much of a super rugby player either, if you ask me.

I would never want him anywhere near the Lions team. All the Lions props are better than old "hinging" Coenie.

I must say, Dave ... it certainly sounds as if you're in favour of Meyers selections.

Questions is ... why are you bit- ching so much then??

Come now David ... Kolisi is a quota selection. He contributes nada to any team he plays for. He's more than likely a quota pick at the Stormers as well.

You need your head read.

Well Dave ... on second thoughts ... your selections aren't really up to standard ... especially your match 23 ... with HouGat at 9, JP at 14, Coenie as the starting tighthead and Kolisi coming in to play at 6 or 7 ...

So I think I'll quietly withdraw my support and thank the stars above that your not in contention for Bok coach.

I seriously could not endure another 4 years of incompetence ...

Sorry bud ... !!!

CC the minute you said I was in favour of Meyers selection I knew you were either pissed or having a non lucid interval.......I have read some shit in my time but thats not even worth a response.
The nature of Willie at play is that he is going to make the odd mistake, but his positives in creating opportunities far outweighs any of the negatives. Without him the Boks would be zero.
Joe is a bog ordinary player has done stuff all with ball in hand since returning from up north......far, far too small for a test 15. There are 5 better options than Joe.
Absolute bullshit regarding Hougaard being outplayed by a Cheetahs rookie, that's just a lie. Hougaard has been awesome at 9 for the Bulls this CC.
Another load of utter crap regarding Coenie as a test prop.....there is a reason he made many s15 teams of the week this season.....both for his scrumming and all round play. He was damn good in the scrums at test time as well prior to his injury.
Your take on Coenie sounds as ignorant as your earlier takes on Lood
Kolisi is a merit selection always has been......is far better than Louw.
Wake up man.........

Kolisi would struggle at vodacom cup level. He is useless. CArr is to soft fro international rugby but has more talent than wee kolisi who wike is now putting at 101 kg.Maybe they can try and get kolis playing as a back?
Coenie's scrummaging has been frot which is unfortuante as his other paly is good. If he can return to loosehead and try and improve hsi scrumming then he MAY have an international future. Arno Botha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They guy has done zip thus far. Wake up snaspter!!!Habana is a must.
At least ou snapster tries.
