Maybe on the wing, which is a throw away call, given we have no right wing. But at centre you had Voster ahead of him....Voster Eina!

Dave makes so many bold statements and such long lists of players that he probably did at some point back Kriel, just lost track of it making newer even more bizarre lists.

I would never have had Vorster ahead of de Allende and Jan.....I never had Kriel at centre as he had played 15 all season for the Bulls.
My call for Kriel as a future Bok was made in 2013....I have always said given his utility it could be 15, 13 or wing.
At no point have I EVER said Vorster was better than Kriel at 13.
Moz you could never nail me as it's easy for me to justify my selections as my selections are always about getting the best 15 on the field

"My Bok backline would be: 15. Willie 14. Jessie Kriel 13. Vorster 12. de Allende 11. Senatla 10. Pollard 9. Faf......with a bench of Hougaard, Jantjies and Frans Venter
Thats a world beating backline......forget old man Jean, he is long done"
There you go Dave. Your world beating backline had Vorster at 13. Crow needs to be thoroughly cooked through, it can be a bit toxic....hahaha.

What's your point? Jan was injured. The best backline included Vorster and Kriel....not because Vorster is a better 13 than Kriel but because having Vorster in the side is better than having an inferior player on the wing with Kriel at 13.
Same applies when Jan returns to full fitness chances are Kriel might have to shift back to wing. It's the dilemma we are faced with given all the classy talent we have at our disposal.
Hope that clears things up for you but my guess is it all goes over the top for you. I'll keep it simple....Kriel will always be in my Bok side moving forward....be it at 15, 13 or wing. He is the best there is in each of those positions

I don't rate Boshoff as a world class player, but as a third option? I think he could do a job for you. He has physicality to cope at test level and a sound boot, can make rudimentary tackles. Essentially is everything Lambie was said to be after his lack of attacking prowess was exposed. The sad thing is that Goosen was exposed as early as week two of the 2012 Super XV. They did not allow him the space to play about a metre in front of the defensive line, the entire Cheetah attack collapsed. That was always his comfort zone, and his defence was already very poor. Fans simply don't watch games properly. It's like all the people who say music is there passion and life, but they don't know anything about it. Difference between liking to hear something and actually listening. Likewise there is a difference between looking and seeing. It's patently clear that most fans enjoy looking at rugby, definitely don't see, hence why they miss the obvious details and need a stupid or biased commentator or journo to hold their hand.

Vorster is a big talent and Meyer of course has not spotted him.

DF music is almost impossible to judge. I am a musician myself, and a can't believe what percentage of music out there is absolute crap, and I have judged many people based on their musical taste. However, something I have learned to accept, is that I may not like something, but that does not make it bad. I don't know the words to some of my favourite songs because I am so focused on the music, but likewise, other people almost ignore the music and are completely taken by the words. My point, music is art, and people get different things out of it, making the reasons for listening to it almost infinite! Bad example DF.

You did not understand what I said. I was speaking of those who listen and those who hear. Those who hear like to have noise around them that excites the central nervous system. To them this is feeling alive. Those that listen pay attention to the differing layers of instrumentation, the harmonies, melodies, theme etc. The point is not about the music itself, but the people who bare audience to it. And likewise to that there are those who look and see. Those who look at rugby cannot tell you what they saw, and need a trusted authority figure to tell them what they did see. They, again, like looking at rugby because of how that stimulates their emotional responses, these people - who form the majority - also happen to be very tribal/clan orientated. Those who see on the otherhand hand interpret what they saw.

Couldn't be clearer. You prefer Kriel at 13. The only thing that's a bit puzzling is this is another team of yours from April
15. Willie 14. JP 13. de Allende 12. Serfontein 11. Kriel 10. Pollard 9. Hougaard 1. Beast 2. Bismark 3. Coenie 4. Willemse 5. Etzebeth 6. Coetzee 7. PSDT 8. Vermeulen
Here you have Kriel on the wing again. It seems at a minimum you prefer Step at centre, so Kriel has to play wing. Odd though that you have JP on the other wing, and in your other team noted further above you leave him out.....forcing Kriel to play wing again.
Seems you prefer Kriel at centre, but mostly have him on the wing.

This is an argument about Dr Goebbels having spotted Kriel. He never saw him playing in anything before he was fielded by the Bulls at fullback this year and was as per normal an after the fact talent spotter - then making the ridiculous claim he spotted him first.
He was not supporting Kriel at center before Meyer picked him in the no 13 position -0 his support always was for Fransie at 12 and he was always punting De Jongh at 13 - while there was uncertainty about De Villiers's availability. He never once punted the center pairing of De Allende and Kriel at all. He still does not support De Allende at all.
So why was Dave wrong about his center pairing he suggested. Vorster Dr Goebbels have never seen playing and he condemned him before he saw him in any match - very normal with him. Whenever any younger player performs - Dr Goebbels goes overboard when he poses a threat to Fransie and.or De Jongh. That is when his lies really come up like sores. Problem is that Vorster did twice as well in his first year as center on Super Rugby level than Fransie did combined in the last three seasons.
I think that it is clear that the future centers would come out of De Allende. Kriel, Serfontein and Vorster - De Villiers is retiring and Steyn and De Jongh are seriously defective in performance.

That was two years after Dave and I said he was star quality at 13. The fact was that in April you were two years behind us. However, you always run back to previous posts so find the comments made earlier about the issue.
Amazing since at that stage you were punting Fourie at 24 and Fransie at 12 or was it Fransie at 10. I am not the one to constantly tun back to earlier postings - find one out 50 and then say "wehehe - I told you so". That is the most childish arguments to raise on this site - because you have never punted anyone when in competition with your favourites.
So you may have mentioned him once as a potential option when there was doubts about De Villiers's return - but you have mentioned other options 20 times. Childish and stupid you are and add to that habitual liar - that represents an exact description of you.

You two have made many new player ollardcalls...Voster, Step, JJ, Jordaan, Esterhosen at centre.....Jantjies, Goosen, Swiel at flyhalf.
I have made two...Pollard and Kriel.
Ironical.

When I opened the message it was a blank - afterwards you added contents to it. But then you must be back to your lies. The following I have punted in the past as potential Springboks:-
Vorster, Jordaan and Goosen
The rest are your lies as per normal. I have always said Serfontein was a back-up for De Villiers. I at times combatted your lies about JJ, but never supported his selection ever. Esterhuizen I have never supported at all. Jantjies was a definite no-no in my comments and Swiel I said he was a real ball sense whiz kid - but not that he was to be a Springbok unless he develops further.
I still stick with Vorster an Goosen for any team ahead of the hopeless Fransie and Morne. What really is surprising is that you claim you identified Pollard and Kriel because you mentioned them as future possibilities - in Pollard's case as a possible selection in 2016. In the meantime you were punting Fransie and Morne as your choice flyhalfs. That was also the case with Kriel.
The fact that you actually supported other players for selection and mention those two as future possibilities indicates that you did not really support them at this stage - when you in fact insisted that two duds must be in the squad.
