So yes, if Folau had those clauses in his contract, which I believe he did, purely due to his previous behavior, then he should feel the full brunt of his actions and accept all repercussions that come his way because of those actions.

Hate is an emotion. A very strong emotion and it usually shows itself when specific conditions are met.
A person who doesn't believe in something won't express himself in a hateful manner. He will simply dismiss it as nonsense and move on.
