Last year the Springboks scraped wins against England at Twickenham and the same against Ireland and Scotland. In the case of England it was largely due to a malfunction of the English captain's brain in the late stages of the game.
They are lucky not to play England this year - but both the Welsh and the French are likely to beat us this year.
To give you an anwer - I will give you in order of likely winners the following:-
1 All Blacks
2 Wales
3 England
4 France.
Is that enough? We scraped a lucky win against Argentina a few weeks back - so don't get u[p[ity and start imagining things.

I notice you conveniently leave out Oz who two weeks ago you were predicting we would lose to by 20 points or more. But you include England we have beaten 3 times and drawn once against in 4 matches under Heyneke. France who was beaten by Italy in the Six Nations ....and Wales we politely lost to when they opened their new stadium....but never before or since. That's your list?

mate the boks pulverized the irish in the second hald! and they had the measure of scotland and completely shutdown an England side that trashed new zealad with the same intensity! hell you guys finish up as #2 in the world why are you whinging?

I did say that we would lose against the Wallabies - but in fact on Superbru predicted that the Springboks will win - because of the obvious inadequacy of the Wallaby team in their previous matches.
Insofar as the other matches mentioned if you believe that we were much better than the Scots and irish you must be kidding yourself. And the French were actually better against the All Blacks than anything we produced.
Three of the matches you mentioned against England was against a rookie team - of which we won two of them narrowly and the other one we drew. Against a more established team of England we lwon on the EOYT by accident.
Our victory away to Argentina was typical - we struggled throughout the game and they outscored us by two tries to one. That shows that to trust the present Springbok side to deliver is a gamble at best.
I think the Springboks will win on Saturday - but not because they are good - more so because the Wallabies have been poor this year. Next week is a definite loss against the AB's by at least the same margin as last year - if not worse.

Mike, you live in a dream world buddy. What do you expect from the Boks? Do you expect them to be super human? Your list comprises of utter bullshit!
As per a wikipedia search, England have not beaten us since November 2006. Wales have not beaten us since June 1999. Of 26 games, we have a record of (W/D/L) 24/1/1. Not a bad record. Last time the French were in SA against a full strength Bok team. Argentina is smoking the Frogs these days. We only lose to those Northern Hemisphere teams in their back yards when we take half baked, dirt tracker teams. Our best side doesn't lose to those gimps!
I think this idea of the Boks "failing" that you have conjured up is all in your head boet. THey are a damn good team that will beat anyone on their day. Just like the AB's. There is nothing between them. Especially this year.
Now I hope the mood out of SA is not one that we are cocky regarding the Aussies this weekend and looking forward to a show down next week because you underestimate the Aussies at your own peril. We can very easily trip up against them if we are not careful. They will have no problem drawing motivation for this one. Worst thing you can do in world rugby is write the Aussies off.

Vlag good old Jake has thrown his toys......the bloke is arrogant, likes to mouth off and stick his foot in it. He arrogantly thought the Oz job was his.......when he was blown out he threw a hissy fit and quit Oz in total.......a classic case of kindergarden behaviour........if you dont give me a one of your sweets, I wont be your friend anymore.......this story has Jake written all over it

Itsall about business. He was offered a better business proposition and more aligned with where he wants to go. He is just like anyone really. If you are doing copier sales for arguments sake but you really want to be in business development in sporting goods and you are offered the opportunity and the incentives are right, you will also gladly jump ship. We are all only human afterall. He leaves Brumbies rugby in a better place than he came in so they can be thankful for that. He did not damage the club. He did his job, he may have been let down by not getting the Aussie job so as that door closed, he steps through another one that is opening in pursuit of his dream. We all have dreams, why cant Jake live his?
Nothing to do with sulking and hissy fit. Its purely business and the direction Jake wants to take in life. Nothing is ever cast in stone!

I dont hate Jake, I don't know the bloke, he means nothing to me - about as much as I mean to him. I just dont rate him as a coach..........he was at best an average coach.......67% record as a Bok coach confirms that.
Hissy fit = him quiting the Brumbies because he did not get the Oz job. Its childish

Good point about his motives- If he wants to live with his family in South Africa, why then did he apply for the Wallaby job.
