There was only one crucial stat 3/1.... the one being the missed JJ taclkle on Barrett. Other important stat is 4/0 .....the 4 being the four turnovers JJ conceded vs 0 for Smith. Two of those JJ turnovers, the rush and knock on the AB line and the halftime fishing expedition leading to the Read turnover, changed the scoreboard negatively for the Boks by 14 points. No amount of glorious sprinting hrough open field is going to offset that.
Time to move on.

I'm with Saffex. His hard cold statistics prove that JJ outplayed Smith on the day and I as an ABs fan have no problems with that whatsoever.
Also to say that JJ's whole Test Match should be judged on one mis-tackle is unfair. The first one to miss Barrett was Morne who did his usual attempt at tackling around the shoulders. The 2nd one to miss Barrett is Jean who went too far forward from the usual line of (banana) defense to offer anything. Smith of course squirmed his way out of JJ's tackle and surprisingly there was no full back - where was the fullback????
Fourie better than JJ? We wait and see.

Let me break your points down like im gona break your nose fat Dave.
1. Your idea of giving me a hiding is more ludicrous than your idea of JJ being a great Bok.
2. How can you compare 2 players that were asked to play different games. NZL played a defensive game and capitalized off our mistakes. SA played a running game. NZL kicked 35 times, SA kicked 20..Sa had 132 runs, NZL 89. SA dominated possession and territory 58%, 60% respectively. That is massive. SA had 91 rucks to NZL's 53..Another huge stat..Nearly double. As you can see fat man, we had a whole lot more ball than NZL. This means JJ should have seen a whole lot more attacking ball than Smith in this match..Of course he should run more. Especially when we were throwing it around. When you take into account NZL kicked 35 balls away and had half the rucks SA had, you would not need to be a rocket scientist to figure out Smith had little chances to rack up runing metres. You would just need to be a bit smarter than you Dave to see that.. Did JJ finish any of his breaks off fat man? One or two breaks in a free flowing game doesnt add inches to your cock slob!
Dave, have you ever played a game in your useless life? If you did, you would know what it feels like to be on the side that is being dominated. Chances are few!
3. Damn right Smith was more valuable. JJ didnt finish any breaks off but he let a try in and played a big part in another try..-14 points right there. Conrad Smith never cost his team points, made 10 crucial tackles and was a great link man in getting his outside backs away.. We will keep him on a neutral 0..That beats -14 anyday so who do you think was more valuable to their team fat asshole?
4. Stats on a missed tackle here or there and metres run dont appeal to me. JJ could have got the ball from a kick and run 25 metres before meeting the defence.. Its not a true reflection of the game..I watch the game and can see for myself..The glaring stat here was JJ's miss on Barrett that cost us the match, championship and hopefully his place in the team! Its looking that way...

Actually Mozart ... I think the correct pronunciation is "wiet" ...
What I'd like to add to the ongoing saga of JJ vs Jaque is this.
The Bok team that played under Jake White and in the last world cup consisted of Jaque Fourie, Fourie Du Preez and JP Pietersen. Had these three NOT left our shores for abroad coin they would still have been part of the mix. Of that there is no doubt.
Players like Basson, HouGat, Kirchner and JJ were mere fill ins till the rightful boys came back and in my opinion NONE of them had what it takes to dethrone them from their rightful spots in the Bok starting 15.
Well ... they're back ... so what's the friggin issue?
Yes there had to be a few changes. The useless John Smit should never have gone to the WC in the first place so Bismarck was a no brainer.
Victor retired ... Juan Smith fell out of the running due to injury and so did Schalk. Two years is a very long time to make a come back from.
Spies was never really worth much ... and we were fortunate enough to have incredible talent at lock in Etzebeth, Bekker and now more recently PSDT.
Jannie has also always only ever been a quick fix till someone better came along. He's been there a lot longer than he should have been. I am hoping that Malherbe will show us what a test tighthead is supposed to look like.
The constant crying from Mike and Stupid shows they have difficulty in actually using their brain for the purpose of thinking things through. Well ... with regards to Stupid ... he doesn't have a whole brain to use so one can't really blame him.
The team we have now is the best we've had in many a year ... AND ... Meyer's still busy building it.
He's getting better and better as he goes along and I'm fully behind him.

^^^^Case closed..Fat Dave, read that and shut the fuck up!
Come here with your dumb theories on how Conrad Smith has "fooled" the whole world and JJ is better..JJ would not get a shoe in had Fourie not left so just read above and keep your dumb mouth shut about JJ now..He is as good as gone!! A season too long in my opinion!
No one ever shares your views stupid! Dont you get tired of being ignorant?

Yeah good one Moz, it was not even close, JJ owned Conrad Smith on the day and that is a FACT
Moz what you should be doing is for once acknowledging this very fact and not keeping banging the drum that smacks of a man smarting.
The stats speak for themselves........96m vs 27m , 1 tackle missed vs 2 missed, 4 defenders beaten vs 1, 1 clean break vs 0.....game set and match

He is literally too dumb to argue with..I mean that 100% and not being sarcastic in anyway..Saffex is literally too dumb to argue with. Full stop.
Stick your stats up your ass fat man! Did JJ win us the test or did he lose us the test? Did he tackle Barrett and save a try or did he miss Barrett and cost us the Championship?
06 Nov 2013, 14:03#49
Well when all is said and done, JJ shouldn't have been the Bok 13 in the first place and thankfully it has now been corrected.
So end of issue.
Happy now?

What kind of ball did Smith get stupid? Did he pick up loose ball from a ruck 10 of those times? What kind of ball did JJ get?? Did he get good, clean 1st phase ball in space? Seems to me like NZL kicked a lot of their 1st phase ball away. Plain to see they tried to smother us out the game. Force us into errors and they did that well. Nearly all their tries came from errors. Except Barrett's..He just plain down ran through your hero JJ just like im gona run through u fat ass!

Barrett beat 2 defenders before he dodged JJ. Good work of Barrett rather than poor tackling of JJ. Engelbrecht's defence needs to be improved on but he is a good outside center and just needs time to develop further.

Ball passed to him you stupid twat..............fuck you are THICK........so bang goes your pathetic theory and pathetic excuses for Smith being owned by JJ on the day.
That is the fact of the matter and there is no way for you to pathetically squirm your way out of it, like your chickening out on meeting me for a hiding........you are just an insignificant little blowhard - you are pathetic, chicken
You have progressed from BOGTWAT to CHICKEN......its more fitting
