Cape Town - Sharks CEO John Smit has backed Sanzar to deal with Rohan Hoffman following the Australian referee 's questionable display in Saturday’s Super Rugby clash between the Waratahs and the Durban-based side.
As it happened: Waratahs v Sharks
The former Springbok captain responded to a post that had been directed his way on Twitter.
The Sharks were beaten 33-18 after having had numerous calls go against them throughout the 80 minutes. (Reminiscent of bryce lawrence on not nearly as bad!)
While they are about it please also investigate Chris Pocock - and the oak who reffed the Stormers/ Hurricanes match if it wasnt again Pocock.
Cape Town - Former South African Test referee Jonathan Kaplan says the Sharks were unlucky not to receive a try from a driving maul in their Super Rugby loss to the Hurricanes in Wellington at the weekend.
With the Sharks trailing 21-17 in the 61st minute, they appeared to score after Marcell Coetzee dotted down following a powerful driving maul close to the Hurricanes tryline.
Meanwhile rage is being expressed on Twitter. Go to:

This one by a non South Afrcan Steve Graham sums it all up:
I'm not South African, but when their #SuperRugby teams tour Aus/ NZ, they suffer from some awful refereeing decisions.
EXACTLY SO. Its nice the world is observing all this stuff and nz/OZ's sporting reputation is in tatters!! How much more before action is taken?
