Kamp SS: Why does no-one like us?

Seeing an all-too-infrequent post from Owen Meany on here today (howzit Owen) reminded me that I hadn't read the Kamp SS message board for many months now, so I went and had a quick look. 
What a laugh! There's a long-winded and tearful diatribe on there called Forum Members which is basically a pathetic whine from the Obergruppenfuhrer and his Gimp the Untergruppenfuhrer about why they have such a pitifully meagre following and why the few people dumb enough to post on their weak-arsed little forum don't hang around for very long.
Further down the thread the Obergruppenfuhrer says he wants to conduct some kind of survey among ex-posters to find out why they no longer post there!

Man oh man, I hope I'm part of that survey! I'll be sure to tell those small-minded and cowardly arsewipes why people choose not to post on their heavily moderated and draconian forum. Hard to believe these fascist control-freaks are scratching their immensely thick skulls wondering why no-one likes them when they've had it explained to them often enough . . . but I'll be more than happy to tell them again!
I'm guessing multiple personas like Taipansy spend more time posting on here than they do on Kamp Staaldraad. Say, talking of Kamp SS moles, Drivelling Avocado (aka Dumb Ass) and the Trooth Fairy have been a bit conspicuous by their absence lately . . . not that I'm complaining mind you.
Oh and who can forget that hilarious incident a year or two ago when the moles reported back to Obergruppenfihrer that one of the New Zealand posters had left the Ruckers Forum, so the Obergruppenfuhrer hastily set up a New Zealand posters section and an Australian posters section on Kamp Staaldraad in breathless anticipation. Man that was funny! Did they even get a single visitor to either of those sites?

 I got an ex posters survey - re what was wrong with the board and why people didnt post there anymore - and asked Barlee if he was joking as i ahd expalined the reaosn many times.
Well it turns out that he has unbanned everyione. So being curious I joined the forum and made a few pointed posts. It was very dead.
I feel sorry for Barlee as he has put in a lot of work but I cant imagine myself spending too much time there.  I wasnt attacked or badly treated  which was a surprise.I think the penny has dropped. Maybe they will recover in time. Wish em well.

 It's not a business,  but a place for friends to meet and discuss sports and other things. Mistakes were made and an effort is made to try and fix things. Why bring that onto this board? You guys have supposedly moved on, why are you still looking back...salt pillars here we come...

Fact is that I am quiet and mostly only read a little bit here (very little at the moment)... because there is no Test rugby going on at the moment... And you clearly not intelligent enough to have realised that! But one would probably expect that from someone who looks up to a someone like Maaik...

 Rooie that was me visited their site ,it was pretty empty so I dont think I ever looked at it much .I'm actually on about 8 or 9 rugby forums and quite a few political ones as well .I got one of those posters survys but havent got around to filling it out.

 It is really a sad day when the world is burning around us and all we can occupy our peanut with is some very poor form of verbal revenge aimed at a cyber identity.  Even my Daddy will come comment here - sadly he still has not paid the maintenance he owes my mother in Motherwell township.  He rather ran away from SA to avoid paying the maintenance he owes the "domestic" Sies man.

 Draad they reaped what they sowed. They treated people abominably and have reaped the fruit of their labour . Twits like tai pansy and fireman were poison and the now defunct attack pack lost them member after member. Changing posts deleting post, lieing outright and being partial and unfair crippled the board. As did over moderation etc.
Now they appear to have learnt their lesson and are turning over a new leaf. So good luck to them. It is possible to get back on the right track and hopefully they have.

Yes well, personally I'd want to hear the culprits at least acknowledge that "mistakes" were made before I believe any efforts are being made to fix anything. Not asking for an apology, just an acknowledgement that my claims are not being sucked out of my thumb.

Also, I don't think a moderator inserting the word "c*nt" into someone else's post is a "mistake", nor is banning a poster for reporting that kind of behaviour . . . or splashing that poster's real name all over the board . . . or accusing that poster of being a hacker . . . or running away like a blubbering baby and then coming back and maliciously changing someone's post count so they can't access the board and defend themselves.

None of those actions were "mistakes", they were all intentional . . . by truly weak and repugnant characters.

 Rooitwit, Barlee acknowledged to me in an email mistakes were made. Agree it was more than mistakes. However people can turn over  new leaf.
CC I was banned 5 times. You had it easy.
I prefer this board and wont get going on that board - Its that simple. But its all old stuff now. Personally I have to admit the trust issue is still of concern. But wish them well and move on.

It's a case of "I told you so, Beeno"..go-on scratch through the emails I sent you a few years ago, not long after we started on here, there are a few where I warned that Kamp SS is doomed. They should have listened to me and kicked Taipan off the site, he is like a virus.It was Barlee who deleted my Xmas greetings...cry me a river....xmas greetings I tell you... I had to PM him to have it re-instated......mistakes were made....give me a break...how often have we heard them repeat that little chestnut.

It has been suggested on this board a few times that you are speaking behind posters backs from this board- on Kamp Staalstraad.

Draad, I don't care how you spin it, the behaviour of Barlee and Hawkeye in my particular case was inexcusable and I'm not going to pretend it never happened just to please you and the other Kamp SS inmates . . . especially when neither one of the Gruppenf uhrers has the guts to man up and admit any wrongdoing.
Like I said earlier, I'm not asking for any kind of apology (although I have every right to), just an acknowledgement from either one of the weak-arsed cowards that I'm not making anything up. There are two particular self-righteous and judgmental blowhards who I would enjoy applying egg to if either Barlee or Hawkeye ever man up and admit the truth. That's all.

 Yes Draad, when it comes to free speech I am thin skinned for which I make no apology.Why do I post my objections to Kamp SS on his site? .....because Kamp SS won't allow me to post on theirs but  even if they did, I won't, until they make an open apology for their past behavior. Now we all know they won't, their latest public exercise lacks sincerity...in layman's terms it's BS.....it's just another veiled attempt to attract the return of disillusioned posters.

 Denny, you left out own accord. Fine, I even respect your reasons for moving on. Free speech? From what little I know, you need to actually have to make an effort to exercise free speech before claiming that it's being trampled on. From your own admission,  that's not the case here. From my dodgy memory it was only Beenz's membership that got banned and Rooi's that was temporarily suspended. Not taking sides here, but this is an old issue that is way less noseworthy than the attention it gets on this site. I have no problem with it being discussed here, but I will give my two bits when it happens.

You say my post serves no purpose, well, I think it provides some amusement. If you don't find it funny then that's your prerogative but please, don't be lecturing me on what subjects I can and can't raise, okay? This is the Ruckers Forum, not Kamp SS.

 

Hands off my friend Draad. He was one of the few from whom I always got a fair deal from whilst on kamp SS. He is an excellent person, one of the best!
If people want to reform good on them but trust is built one has to add.

 OK Rooi, Point taken. I was over the top with my reaction. A while ago...mabe even a year ago I was part of a similar discussion,  on the other side of the fence and it leads to, well...nowhere...so pardon the lecture if you please.
Sharkbok and Denny. I like to think that I have some cyber friends on this site and SS and I don't have any allegiance to any site, but rather an allegiance to friendships,  so no, I don't pick sides. And in the event of someone being discussed "behind their backs" I would like to think that I'm just as consistent in my approach as i would be with such person present. Obviously I sometimes piss people off and get angry at others, lose my cool and say stupid things, but that's just life.

 Thanks Beens, but go easy on the complements,  people might get ideas!

 Draad, Do me a favour....ask your friends to openly apologize on their site, only then can we judge their sincerity. I don't expect it will happen because their inflated egos will get in the way. It's just a BS exercise. You defending them on here when obviously they've left some with hard feelings doesn't cut it. Now for the heads up on quick starting their membership, I suggest they shut the door on that virus, Taipan.

 Defending? I said I have friends on both sites and won't pick sides in a stupid fight and I'm not gonna be a messenger between sites....so please ask another favour.
