All sounds a bit late in the game & smacks of desperate measures. Bok back line has a lot of weaknesses but I doubt Meyer will bring in many untried players .

...and I'm against crash and bash rugby...I know it's needed most of the times to get advantage but it must be tempered or balanced with skilled attacking backline th at is ready to piece gaps that are created through intelligent decoy and manouvers.

As I said Kolbe will never be able to understand the finer aspect of scrum half play. Keep him at fullback, if you have to move him put him at wing. Kolbe isn't 78kg's, he's 80. You won't be able to notice a difference from 80kg's - 85kg's in a fullback, it's all about technique and Kolbe's tackling technique is superb.

Cheaser you need to get Willie, Senatla and Kolbe on the park. Meyer will not drop Haban and also you dont want a midget back three. My solution a dsitinct possiblity. Kolbe though must start at scrummie for the Stormers and it must happen when the season starts.Beeno's visonary thinking to subltle for the cheaser!

I'm beginning to luv the 7's more...quick and intelligent skills in rugby...could be the great sport of the future...what I like about it is that smaller rugby nations like, Kenya, Portugal,Russia, Canada etc can play it and hold the stronger nations to marginal results.

Sevens is fun Seb but hardly the real thing.A summary of the Blitz day:
Congrats to Cecil!! Great achiuevement.
The Springbok Sevens team continued where they left off on the second day in Dubai with three completely dominating performance on the first day of the Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
The one team that was competitive against the South Africans on the first day of their triumph in Dubai, Wales, was comprehensively dispatched in the last game of the day, thus completing a perfect opening stanza to the third leg of the HSBC World Sevens Series. After beating the USA 26-0 in the first match and Kenya 38-7 in the second, the Blitzbokke romped all over Wales, winning 36-0. The hosts conceded just one try, against Kenya, on the opening day.
Those results set up a meeting for the South Africans with England in the quarterfinal round. England were just pipped in the battle for supremacy in Pool D by New Zealand, who beat them into second place and condemned them into a clash with the red hot South Africans with a hard fought 5-0 win in the deciding game of the pool.
The other quarterfinals will see unbeaten Fiji play Australia, who were beaten 31-21 by Argentina in one of the first day’s surprise results. The Argentinians play Scotland and New Zealand will play the USA. (Kiwis could reach semis!!)
The Boks started the last game against Wales with a celebratory moment, Cecil Afrika eclipsing Fabian Juries’ record for aggregate number of career points for the Blitzbokke as he used his pace to power over in the left corner. Afrika now stands on 928 career points against the 925 in the completed career of Juries.Congrats to Cecil!! Great achiuevement.

Senatla plays for the Stormers, but in an interview this week he said he is going to focus on Sevens until the 2016 Olympics, there after he will decide what his future holds.
Thank heavens for that because I am not sure whether I would like him in a 15 man team.
Make no mistake, this guy is super fast (ideal for 7s), but that is more or less where it ends. His ball skills are poor and his defence is even worse. Once his opponents has made him a marked man, he will be a serious liability.
