Koch comes back to earth

 You should not mention the names of Koch and Jannie  in the same sentence.   It is like comparing a race horse with a donkey.   Jannie is so much out of form that he definitely  should not e considered as Springbok material.  His performance week after week is what can be expected from a 33 year old - not up to standard 
Mind you Robinson gave away three penalties in scrumming today so what makes him so wonderful?
The tightheads for the WC should be Malherbe, Koch and Coenie - no pla ce for your national treasure.       

Oh dear the only thing the Sharks did right against the Saders was scrum, thanks to Jannie....and Moronic totally missed it.

Moronic, the day you are honest about one the players you dislike, when they have a good game, is the day your posts might be worth reading.  That day has never arrived.

I do not rate players on the basis of likes or dislikes like you do - I rate them on the basis of actual performance.   The norm I use is based on all matches played and always based on statistics and actual performance on the field of play - I do not write unsubstantiated hogwash based on one incident in one match and made out that it is standard for the player throughout a tournament or series.
Jannie du Plessis is not up to standard  anymore - and anybody who says otherwise has completely lost their objectivity in player performance assessment.

I said that Jannie is not up to standard based on his PERFORMANCES on the field of play as evidenced by what in fact happened and what is statistically confirmed - not on the fact I do imagine things which cannot be factually proved.    His p erformances have been substandard and there is no way you can through verbal diarrhea prove otherwise. 

Rubbish he scrummed very well against the Saders and earned a few penalties out of Crockett....be objective and perhaps you will be treated accordingly. Continue to rant and be treated as an inconsequential pest.

Kindly explain which of the figures, quoted above, are indicative of his scrumming not being up to standard, and why?

 Look - you cannot just look at one match and say his scrumming is adequate.  In dealing with the issue of performance there are a variety of issues to be addressed in respect of a prop.   The most important one obviously is the issue of scrumming and the ability to constantly scrum well enough.   However, there are also other factors which adds to the value of props - ie contribution to rucks and mauls, ball carries in traffic, ability to make tackles (mostly in traffic) and an acceptable ability to catch and pass balls.
Janie is not so outstanding in scrumming that he is irreplaceable - he is getting on in years and there has been a decline in his scrumming performances.   He normally starts off well enough - but after about four or five scrums scrumming becomes notably poorer and the longer he stays on the field of play the less effective he becomes.   There is no doubt that his age is contributing to his declining performances.   
However, in respect of the other issues mentioned there is no evidence at all that he makes any significant contribution outside of scrumming.  That is evident from the stats provided above as well.   Incidentally his tackling has been a cause for concern for the past two years already.              

It was a classic case of poor reffing when it came to Koch......there is no consistency when it comes to refs interpretations of the scrums or more to the point props. He kept pinging Koch for placing his feet too far back.
Malherbe was very good as was Kitshoff once again.

 @Ou Maaikie. No use reciting a lengthy useless essay again. You are wasting your own time. It was a simple question. Which of those stats indicate that his scrumming was not up to standard, and why?
