Back in 2013 Tokkie writes this

"Now for the bad one insofar as new Zealand  players are concerned:-

*   McCa played - but was by far the worst player in the AB side bearing in mind his stats as well."

"Now back to McCaw - sorry, but he is missing more tackles than ever before. In the Ellis Park test he made 13 tackles - missing 5.   That is a 24,5% missed tackle ratio.   Reason - despite all the shouting and screaming of the AB fans - it is a sign of decline in his performances."

"Can you now understand my response now - but as I said - have fun with a declining McCaw - the longer he plays for the AB's the more beneficial it is for the Springboks".

And then in 2015 he says this
"Here I have a problem.  Conrad Smith is not what he used to be, but likely to be captain.  Williams is playing on-and-off rugby and his defense was so-so in Super 15, while his off-loads were excellent.  Nonu is in the same category as Conrad Smith.  It is with some hesitation that I write down what I really think."
And this
"I have highlighted the players I am thinking should be the first choice in the various positions and put those I would not touch with a bargepole last on the list of players in each position."

No 7
Sam Cane, Michael Todd, Akira Ioane, Richie McCaw
No 6

But then having written all that negative stuff about the AB vets, and I'm just scratching the surface today he says this:

"The same cannot be said about the AB's players mentioned - they never were sub-par in form like the so-called Springbok vets were.  What a comparison by a deluded mind whose idea of form is non-existent."

And there are some fools on this site who take him seriously...liar is an inadequate word.

Oh dear indeed. In our modern world lies and deception are less of a problem than being argumentative....so the old Pervert is never called on the carpet the way he would have been on prior sites. He is viewed by some as a harmless old fool...and his lies just a symptom of creeping mental frailty. Not...he is an obsessive, repetitive nusciance who sucks up Board energy with his drivel and misleads the Board with his lies. Well doc.umented lies.

 Mozart
You are a bloody fool when it comes to player evaluation.  I look at performances of players and there was clear indications in that comments why I made the comment at the time.   Have a look at the stats of McCaw in that game:-
McCaw0/000/4/48000113/50/010/0
Those were not the stats of a champion loosie McCaw always was - matter of fact it was a poor game on his part and confirmed a downward trend in his performances.  The trend was compared to the top class performances of McCaw in previous years.
However, the same tendency was noticeable in the case of Conrad Smith.
What you tried to make  an issue of in this case is not an issue at all.   The reason I say that is that you are a BSter with no idea of player performance evaluation and you constantly make a fool of yourself by using the comments of years ago about a performance tendency to try and make a point.
Absolute crap dug up by the biggest fool on the site to draw attention away from his own support of non-performing players in the Springbok side.

Mikey ,Mikey ,Michael .Whatever shall we do with you if you keep saying such foolishness about  things such as the greatest midfield pairing ever and the winningest captain and number 7 of all time ? Hell even SBW has proved a most postent weapon off the bench .Nonu and Conrad must be doing something right to have been paired in over 60 tests !Or were the ABs being silly ? Yup hanging on to those blokes is going to cost us the RWC or umm the Bledisloe or maybe even the 2013 and 2014 RC ?Mikey ,Mikey ,Mikey .

Let me see if this helps you understand Pervie.
1) You dump on the All Black vets
2) I say the form of our vets was not that different from NZ's
3) You dump on me....gratuitously....saying the form issues "cannot be said about the AB's players mentioned".......when in fact that's exactly what you said as demonstrated above.
Watch for small bones, those crows can be a bit tough. Absurd fellow

i did not dump anybbody - you stupid old fart.   I did the honest thing and pointed out the fact that there was a deterioration in the performances of McCaw and of Conrad Smith compared to what they used to be.  That remains a fact of life - although in a winning team the fact is that they are not as good as they were 5 years ago.
In the end the upshot was that I never said the players should be dropped anyway and when teh NZ coach was announced the mphasis you put was on teh age of players - while Dave and myself pointed out that they were not selected on the basis of age - but performance.
This is another of your leading BS arguments that really is based on misrepresentation and not fact.
Insofar as the form of our vets is concerned they were thriving in BS or not playing and that is a fact as well.  Every one of our vets failed in the end because they were selected on reputation without regard to performance.   That definitely was not the case with the NZ vets.  Dave and I pointed that out repeatedly - but you were too dense to realize that.

Oh you "never said they should be dropped anyway"?
Well what does this mean, if not that you would have dropped McCaw?

"and put those I would not touch with a bargepole last on the list of players in each position."

 Wardad
I always assess performance.  In 2013 - which Mozart quoted McCaw was in a bit of a slump and the same applies to Smith this year.
When Hansen announced the squad this year I did not say anything negative about any of his selections and when Mozart start his BS about age - boith Dave and I said age is not a concern - performance is.  Both of us said mcCaw is still a top performer.
However, I personally believe that Fekitoa s at present a better performer than Smith and that is the real situation here.  Mozart are onto his normal misleading rubbish he specialize in.

My favorite liar quote is Gordon Gekko from Wall Street. " Stop telling lies about me and I will stop telling the truth about you"
Words Tokkie should carve on his forehead.

The stupd two idiots at it again.  What I wrote at the time is based on what happened at the time - what I wrote this year is what is applicable to this year.   Where can we come across to bigger fools than Mozart and Ceradunce?
