Lifeis frustrating alright

I bought another house and found that things were not to my liking.  First thing the previous owner had a weird idea about painting of the house - so some repainting (inclusive of the roof) became imperative.   
Secondly - the garden was a mess - there was no plan to it and what there was was badly maintained.  High-growing trees planted less than a meter apart, Weeds all over the place and pest plants galore.
Now for the progress - whenever we think we are making an iota of progress - down comes the rain and the whole saga is delayed.  It is bitterly cold as well.   I have to pay the painter and garden staff for NO work done and it drives me crazy.   I was hoping to get the painting work done by tomorrow - but no chance of that.  The painter must still paint the roof of the Flat at the house (first coat) and then paint the roof as a whole -second coat.   Then some minor work elsewhere - so another 4 days work at least.
The garden staff will not complete the work before late in August - I have surrendered on that one.   
And it rained and rained and rained.
Bloody frustrating to say the least - made worse by no rugby this weekend.               
  

 

 Hehehe Denny the way housing prices are in Sydney 50m may well get you a 2 bed room split level bungalow complete with bird bath 1960s interior and a stone flamingo to go with said bird bath [ in lieu of pool ] .Mikey could be worse my Dad decided he really ,really ,REALLY liked the colour "plum crazy ' so he repainted his immaculately restored 1961 Ford Fairlane [ much to the horror of the Ford Car Club he belonged to]  then he painted the inside of the house the same colour but when he started on the outside of the house Mum threatened to leave !
