With the Zebre try in the 50th minute a number of Sharks players were guilty of jogging back as the opposition was converging behind a kick. Only Mapimpi was sprinting, but he made an error, and in the end a Zebre player surrounded by 4 Sharks players scored a try, with the joggers (Penxe, Julius and Hendrikse) all arriving too late to save the try. Only as the try scorer, who was behind Julius on the 22, streaks past him onto the loose ball does he wake up and picks up some pace to intervene, but too late.
Two steps quicker, two steps more commitment in the chase, and any of Penxe or Julius could have dotted the ball down and saved the try. Lazy stuff.
